Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in November 2012
I cannot put words to express the joy from my experience at Bromley. From the amazing views from my room, to the deepest comfortable sleep in historic luxury and waking to the smell of fresh Jamaican coffee and tastes of family style Caribbean breakfasts. The meals themselves deserve a separate post, as the hospitality from the owners made me feel like I had returned home. Bromley is nestled in the mountains but close enough to enjoy local beaches, waterfalls, rivers and hiking...it's the perfect journey into authentic Jamaica while feeling like I was part of a family and community...Last but not least there is a fully stock beautiful Yoga deck where I could practice in the mornings :) Cannot wait to return!

Brisbane, AustraliaPerfect location, facilities and service!
Left on 11/15/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Best accommodation I've stayed at in Jamaica. I have family there however whilst building our holiday house we needed somewhere to stay for a few days. Bromley is perfect for many reasons. The location is serene and peaceful, conducive of relaxation. The cottage we had was complete with everything we needed. We were hosted by owner Jonathon and served our daily breakfast by the lovely Valerie. This stunning estate oozes history and culture and a stay here will most certainly put the true Jamaica right in front of you. More tourists to Jamaica than I could possibly imagine choose to stay in the fully inclusive resorts and whilst I have also had some lovely stays there, this countryside retreat is definitely my top pick. I can't wait to come back for a yoga retreat next time and look forward to seeing the team there again on my next visit! Thank you Bromley!

San Diego, CACharming Jamaican country retreat
Left on 08/14/2011 for a stay in August 2011
What a find in a country known mostly for beachfront getaways! Bromley is a hidden gem tucked away in Walkerswood in the parish of St. Ann's. The estate has a main house and some cottages, a poool, yoga platform and extensive grounds. I stayed in the schoolroom cottage which was quite spacious with living room, kitchen and wraparound veranda. There are beautiful views of the lush countryside from the living room or the veranda. You can see some retired polo horses grazing in nearby fields or just listen to the birds singing away. Very tranquil setting.
Valerie, the manager, gave a very warm and professional welcome and saw to everything i needed during my stay. She prepared some delicious breakfasts each day while i lolled about on the veranda. I felt a bit guilty not cooking my own breakfast every day but it is vacation after all.
There are a few dogs in residence and all are very sweet and protective. Although i was traveling solo, I was never lonely since there are some permanent residents and my canine friends, if I wanted their company. Have already told several friends about this place, including what a great value it is! I will definitely be back to Bromley, maybe during one of their yoga retreats.
