Midway between Vilano Beach to the east and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west sits Porpoise Pearl, our newly updated, charming beach house. Just a short walk from either body of water, it provides all the latest comforts in a fabulous vintage setting!<br/>Porpoise Pearl is a light, airy, beautifully decorated 2-storey house with a long wooden deck running the entire length of the second floor and a big backyard filled with palm trees and shady nooks. It sits behind a picket fence on a quiet street just a short walk from the beach. If you've always wanted to experience the Florida coast like a native, make Porpoise Pearl your home ba...se!<br/>Perfect for 2 families traveling together or a multi-generational trip, Porpoise Pearl has 4 bedrooms: 2 with queen-sized beds and 2 with twins. There's also a living area on both the first and second floor, so your group can divide up anytime the kids want to watch a movie while the grown-ups squeeze in a quick round of Texas Hold'em. With plenty of private spaces, Porpoise Pearl is a great house for a busy group.<br/>On the first floor is the "formal" living room, although it's too comfortable and welcoming to really merit that name. A big sectional sofa is just waiting for those afternoon naps, while comfy easy chairs and beanbags for the kids offer space for everyone. A 40-inch flat-screen TV with cable and Blu-ray awaits here, along with a CD player and sound system. Light pours in from the windows, and the gorgeous hardwood floor (present throughout the house) feels nice and cool on tired "beach feet"!<br/>There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor: the master with a queen-sized bed, and a ship's cabin style room with built-in twin bunkbeds the kids will adore! These rooms share a full bathroom with a tiled floor and both a bathtub and shower option; this bath is accessible from outside too, so the kids don't run through the house every time they need to use it.<br/>Our laundry room is also here, with a washer and dryer for use, plus spare linens for all the beds at Porpoise Pearl. We also provide all the towel sets you need for both bathrooms, plus spares of everything, including pillows and blankets. Pack light (you'll want the extra space for all the seashells you'll collect on Vilano Beach!) and come as you are -- we've got it covered here.<br/>Travel upstairs and you find yourself in an open, very light and beautiful space with a family room on one side and the kitchen and dining area on the other. The family room will become the favorite place of any movie-lover in your group, because it contains a giant 60-inch flat screen TV with Blu-ray and DVD player. Ultra-relaxing furniture lulls you in this room, while French doors lead out to the balcony. <br/>You will love using our kitchen, completely updated with stainless-steel appliances (check out the instant hot water faucet!) and time-savers, including an icemaker, coffeemaker, microwave, and blender. The cupboards are loaded with dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware, so all you need to do is pick up some groceries and you're good to go! <br/>The wide stone counter at one end of the kitchen doubles as a breakfast bar, computer center (you have free wireless Internet here), and buffet area. The table and chairs are located out on the deck, and you'll love dining al fresco in the balmy Florida air, the murmur of the surf in the distance!<br/>There are 2 bedrooms on this floor too, and a full bath with double vanities and a lovely tiled floor. One bedroom contains a queen-sized bed and a small TV. The other has 2 twin beds. Both rooms are painted in soft sea-toned pastels, and are guaranteed to give everyone a great night's sleep.<br/>In spite of its lovely interior, your favorite spot at Porpoise Pearl will probably be the deck. There's room to sit or lounge here as well as eat, and the view of our sleepy little beach neighborhood is irresistible.   The house was situated close to the beach and in a quiet neighbourhood. The house was clean and dwell laid out for our family of four!! Nice to sit on the deck and Bar-B-Que. The only thing that was not up to standard was the hot water which had the smell of rotten eggs! We made due and would definitely come back to the house if in the area!
