Prepare to be thoroughly spoiled at our beachfront condo at Colony Reef 2307! Between the breathtaking view of the ocean from our balcony and all the fun ways to relax at this condo community including an indoor heated pool and an outside oceanside pool, you are about to have the best vacation of your life!<br/>First let's talk about the balcony, because we predict that's where you'll be spending a lot of your time! It's nothing like that narrow strip of cement-and-rail you may be used to at hotels. This is a full outdoor room, with views in two directions and room for a table and chairs with space to spare. Look out over the magnificen...t oceanside swimming pool and beautifully landscaped grounds and you will see the fabulous wild dunes, a strip of pure white beach, and the sparkling Atlantic! You'll also smell that fresh sea breeze and hear the low murmur of the crashing waves. What a lovely way to wake up each morning . . . and go to sleep to each night.<br/>From the balcony you enter the living room of Colony Reef 2307, and here again, the first thing you may notice is the sheer space. This is a nice-sized room, with plenty of super-comfortable seating, a large LCD TV with DVD player and VCR, and a ceiling fan. One of the couches converts to sleep 2 people, should you wish. (And what a view of the sunrise those lucky folks will have! You may just have to use the sofa sleeper yourself one night to get a panoramic view of the dawn.) <br/>Just beyond the living room is the kitchen, with a long low breakfast bar for informal dining and a convenient way to keep the cook involved in the conversation. You will love our kitchen. The space is economical, yet it has absolutely everything you could ask for, from all major and minor appliances to a full set of cookware, dishes, and utensils. There's even a little laundry room tucked back behind the kitchen, with a full washer and dryer at your disposal. <br/>The dining area is fun and bright, with a beach-casual décor. Our glass-topped oval table is just the right size for playing board games, by the way -- and it's a good place to set up the laptop and use our free wireless Internet to update your Facebook status ("Saw dolphins in the surf this morning!"). In fact, the table usually becomes Command Central around here, so you might just have to eat out on the balcony. What a shame!<br/>Getting a great night's sleep is so important to your vacation that you're going to love the bedrooms here at Colony Reef 2307. The master bedroom contains a queen-sized bed, with balcony access from the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass door, a TV, plenty of storage space, and an en-suite master bathroom. It will become your haven of peace and slumber after all those busy days!<br/>The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds and a TV, and the third is our Crow's Nest, with 2 stationary twin beds. The kids will love the idea of sleeping here!<br/>All of the linens, pillows, and blankets are provided for these beds, as are the towel sets for our two full bathrooms. No making an emergency run to Wal-Mart to buy an extra pillow; you'll have everything you need right at Colony Reef 2307.<br/>Our condo is located on the second floor of the building, which has elevator service. Colony Reef is a fun and vibrant condo complex with outdoor and heated indoor swimming pools, a fitness room, sauna, hot tub, kids' playground, and both racquetball and tennis courts. There is always something new to try! <br/>Beach access is just a few yards from your door, via a lovely zigzag walkway over the natural dunes. You may enjoy this walk almost as much as the destination! But when you reach those sugary sands and see the rolling waves, you know you've arrived.   We loved the location and the beautiful ocean and pool. The property does need updated badly. Scotch tape holding the blinds up in the small bedroom and other minor fixes would be cheap to repair and that would make a world of difference. We would definitely stay again.

  We absolutely loved the community feeling of the complex! The only thing we would want to change was to stay on the first floor so the kids could easily enjoy all the activities. We loved the view even during the tropical storm!

  Unit 2307 Colony Reef

  Location great, view was great, grounds and facilities perfect,but disappointed with the unit itself. Ceiling needs vacuuming in hall and kitchen (dust in the popcorn ceiling), bedding needs replacement (pillows and bed linen), was told to start a load in washer and dishwasher before leaving, but there was no soap for either, old rusty furniture left on porch for yrs. Bottom line, the unit needs attention, even for a beach location. $150 for cleaning fee seems steep. On the positive side, it was a great stay...loved the Colony Reef, the view, and the grounds. Will stay there again, but not in 2307.

  Our family had a fantastic vacation at Colony Reef. The location was fantastic, the grounds were very well maintained and it had a great view. Was a bit disappointed that the pool wasn't heated and was too cold to swim in, even for our kids. Also the condo needs some minor repairs, updating and a good deep cleaning. I don't think the vacuum even works. Our family would definitely return to Colony Reef but maybe look for a more updated unit.

  Beautiful Resort

  My only concern that I had about the place was that my friends daughter used the sofa sleeper and we noticed on the pillow case and sheets that it looked like dried blood. The sheets could of been cleaner for the sleeper sofa. Overall we enjoyed the stay, the place was beautiful and would go back there again. Had an awesome time.

  Colony Reef location is ideal as is unit 2307. We enjoyed it for 3 years. The grounds are well kept. The unit's living room, dining room and Master Bedroom are nicely decorated. However, Carpeting in all rooms need cleaning. Bedding and window treatment in guest bedroom needs to be replaced. Master bathroom tub area needs work. Kitchen needs work. Lots of dinner plates but lacks sufficient glassware, cups and bowls.

  The only thing I would mention is our master room closet had a really bad smell to it. Thats where the vacuum and some of the cleaning supplies were kept. It probably should be cleaned out. Other than that we will def use you in the future!! Great Location!!

  I spent a week with my two kids, ages 14 and 8. We all loved the beach and pool. The pool is very big and is kept very clean. The condo is a little dated. Bathroom and sink fixtures are old and rusted. Living room and master bedroom were nice and in good shape. Good TV with all cable channels. Patio is a little cluttered up with grills and beach equipment. Wireless internet does not work well. Hard to get connection in condo, could only connect out on patio. Could only connect inside very early in morning or very late at night. Nice veiw of both pool and ocean from outside patio.

  Great unit and stay marred by an unpleasant arrival experience

  We arrived at 2:50, picked up the key at the dropbox, and expected to be able to enter the unit. Then we were told we had to wait 2 hours for it to be cleaned. I was told a manager would call me back to discuss some sort of compensation for the delay, but no one ever called. It was a major inconvenience, after driving for 7 hours and arriving right on time, to have to wait 2 more hours with small children in the heat with our car loaded full. I would have appreciated having some sort of compensation made for that inconvenience, or at least heard from the manager like I was assured would happen by another employee who I talked to.

  Great Condo

  We were pleased with our stay in unit 2307 Colony Reef. Our only negative review would be the Mirror behind the tub in the Master bathroom. As a whole the unit is clean. Any probllem is taken care of quickly by the housekeeping personnel. We would like to reschedule for March of 2012.
