If you've been searching for a family getaway spot, you can stop looking. When you stay at Four Winds' unit C5, you're just steps away--via a private boardwalk!--to the famously fine white sands of Crescent Beach and the Atlantic Ocean just beyond.

What's more, the gated Four Winds complex has not 1 but 2 swimming pools, surrounded by chaises and leafy palm trees, as well as tennis courts, a basketball court, and even a putting green. The famed Intracoastal Waterway, with its marinas and lush trails, is within walking and biking distance. And golf courses, restaurants, shops, historic and happening St. Augustine, and Mar...ineland are just a quick drive away.

With so much to see and do, you want a restful, roomy place to make your base of operations. Four Winds C5 is just that.

Let's start with the living room. Its tiled floors will feel so cool underfoot after a day of sightseeing or hiking. The plush sofa and chairs are made for sinking into as you watch a movie on the 48" HDTV with Blu-ray/DVD player or post to your Instagram account via the free wireless web access. The couch even opens up into a queen-size bed, so that Four Winds C5 can sleep up to 6 people.

Sliding doors connect the living room to the balcony. This cool, shady spot is perfect for sitting with a book and a drink, the palm trees rustling in the salt-scented breeze a soothing soundtrack.

Back inside, the dining area is homey and welcoming; in fact, the dining room chairs are decorated with pineapples, a traditional symbol of hospitality! The padded seats are so comfy, you'll want to linger at the table long after the meal is over. Fortunately the table is large enough to host an after-dinner game of Monopoly or rummy. Should you want even more seating, the breakfast bar has 3 stools; the kids will especially love clambering up here for a snack.

Even if you don't plan on cooking during your vacation, it's good to know that you can. The kitchen is fully equipped, from oven and fridge to coffee maker and blender. Pots, pans, tableware-they're all provided too. So is a dishwasher, because nobody wants to waste precious vacation time washing up. Likewise, because you don't want to sit in a Laundromat when you could be swimming in the pool or building sandcastles on the beach, Four Winds C5 has its own private washer and dryer.

To get the most out of each action-packed day, you need to be certain of a good night's sleep. At Four Winds C5 you can rest easy--literally and figuratively! The master bedroom has a luxurious king-size bed as well as a 40" HDTV with Blu-ray/DVD player. Here's your chance to binge-watch your favorite shows--all while propped up on plump pillows as a soothing breeze wafts in through the oversize window. The 2nd bedroom, which has 2 twin beds, is also equipped with a TV and a large window. Fresh bedding, blankets, and pillows, including plenty of extras, will be waiting for you, as will fresh towels for the 2 bathrooms.

When you stay at Four Winds C5, you can spend one day surfing the waves, kayaking, hiking along the Intracoastal, and battling on the tennis court, then spend the next doing little more than lazing by the pool and looking for shells on the beach. A vacation here is almost like a Choose Your Own Adventure book, with you as the author! So get ready to write yourself a wonderful time by booking your stay at Four Winds C5 today.

This was our 3rd year in a row that we spent at this condo. It doesnt have an ocean view but it is only a few feet away from the beach...great location. You walk out the glass doors and the board walk to beach is right there in front of you. Its less than a 20 min drive from everything St augustine has to offer.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!

From booking to check-out, everything was as expected or better. Very clean, friendly staff, quick response with everything. Easy check-in instructions. Only negative comment was that kitchen could use several more items for cooking. We ate at the condo for all meals except 2 dinners, sometimes food prep and storage was a bit complicated. Overall very satisfied. We did buy a pitcher and leave at the unit for future use. Surely other renters will use it for Kool-aid, lemonade, or iced tea as well.
Vacation was great!

The location couldn't have been better! Steps away from the ocean! The condo was clean except for kitchen cabinets and drawers. Had a great vacation!

Proximity to a great beach is the key feature of this location. The unit was quite clean and as pictured. Kitchen utensils could be better stocked (sharp knife, vegetable peeler, etc)No ocean view from this unit, but it almost sits on the dunes. Biggest drawback for us was that the Four Winds is a long drive (8 miles) to most conveniences (groceries, drug store, etc.)

We really liked the ground floor unit. I think it was fairly clean and had most everything we needed while there. I missed the ice maker this time and the vertical blinds need some attention, but over all we had a very good experience and a good time .

It took a little convincing for my husband to agree to leave our CT grandchildren for such a long time, but from the time we checked in to check out time, we had no regrets. The rental property was very comfortable with many small touches that made it a home away from home - from nice decorative items, to fluffy towels, Egyptian sheets, large TV, WiFi connection and even a "library" of sorts. The location was excellent and the property management quick to respond to any issues, ie internet problems. Other Four Winds residents were friendly and open. All in all, a wonderful place to retreat to.

We enjoyed our stay at Four Winds. The condo was well furnished, clean and easy to get to. The bathrooms were small, but worked fine. My only negative comment was the smell of fabric softener on all the linens was so strong it gave us headaches. We enjoyed being so close to the ocean. Would stay there again, as long as the smell was removed ahead of time. It was really strong.

Other than it being unusually cold we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had trouble with our Wi Fi connection when we first arrived, but the property manager worked closely with us to get it solved. She was great!! Although we were very near the beach you could not see the water from our condo, not that it was advertised that you could, it just would have made it perfect if you could. The condo was very nice and spacious. Very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful week.

The only draw back I felt was the choice offered if we had to cancel.(travel insurance opt.) In our case I wished I would have gotten the insurance because this was booked for my brother & his new wife coming from California as a wedding gift and they were in route driving here to Florida and was involved in a car accident. Yes, they are okay but now couldn't travel. They are now going to fly here in Sept. 20th - 29th but to little to late the saying goes. So I wished we could have had the chance to change the dates. It would have been such a lovely way to show them St. Augustine.

The pools should not be heated in the summer. It was too hot to get in them.
