Hartley Kent, UKOur holiday
Left on 09/01/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The property was as described which in this day and age is a nice change. The clear view of the atlantic ocean was something else even on rainy afternoons the view of the storms was like something we had never seen before. We found three great restaurants (Aunt Kates, The Reef and Caps on the Water). Vacation Retals were very helpful, when we told them there was no ironing board within an hour someone had driven through a rain storm to deliver one.

Lexington, SCGreat location, property needs a little work
Left on 08/06/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Loved the location- right on the beach and close to historic St. Augustine. Lots of shopping, restaurants, etc within a 20 minute drive. The pool was great- was kept clean and the kids loved it. The kitchen/living room was smaller than it appears in the photos. There was a hole in the upper deck balcony and overall the deck needs a major overhaul. The downstairs twin bed bedroom was horribly hot unless you kept the door open all the time. We called and the maintenance worker brought a big fan to put under the vent and that helped too. Bring at least one babygate for the stairs down to the garage if you have a little one- it comes right off the main living area. Lots of indoor toys and beach stuff left at house presumably from prior guests was a nice perk. Overall would recommend but for price would have liked to see it a little better maintained- could definitely tell it was a well used rental.

Jefferson City, MOBeautiful spot but home needs work
Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Cons: We arrived at night-there were no outside lights, couldnt see to get the key without a flashlight.Even then,it was very difficult to see.During our stay for our 3 families,we only had one key to share. We did have a garage door opener but only one of the lightbulbs barely came on-so we still couldn't see.Parking was a major issue. If you have a truck and a van, there is not adequate room to park in the driveway. There is not room for 4 vehicles unless they are small.Several of the big plastic dishes were cracked and lighting at all around the pool,so once its dark, you're done swimming. The fan in the spare bedroom upstairs quit working, and that room got really warm. There had been touchup painting done, but it wasnt the same color it seemed.Toilet wasnt properly working but,it got fixed day three. Two dish towels and no washclothes in kitchen,we bought some and left them.Stormed everyday we were there and the 2nd bedroom has a front window that leaks in. Also, the top trundle bed falls in at the bottom when the trundle is out.Missing some of the utensils needed as well.Several of the dining room chairs need work, they were very wobbly. The vaulted ceiling fan in living rm doesnt work. We have stayed in many rental places and in several states. There was some work being done to the home while we were there. The guy commented that the home didnt settle well. We all felt it was overpriced because of the above. You just dont expect to have these (some)simple to fix issues when you are paying $4000/wk in total.

Cumming, GAWindy but sunny vacation
Left on 06/26/2012 for a stay in June 2012
The location of the property was great, but the house needed many repairs. My wife was downstairs putting a load of clothes in the wash when she felt water hit her on the shoulder. Our granddaughter had just gotten out of the upstairs shower. The tile is in terrible condition and I'm sure the walls are full of mold.I was in the garage and had water drip on me, the air condition was located directly above where I was standing.

Statesboro, GAWonderful Family Vacation Location
Left on 06/20/2012 for a stay in June 2012
This beach vacation house was great! Loved the location & proximity to town. Perfect view of sunrises, right on the beach with walkway, private pool, open airy feel of the famliy room & kitchen. When we arrived there was an unfortunate leak from the upstairs bathroom dripping into a pan in the downstairs queen bedroom. The customer service department was very helpful in contacting a plumber, who was sent to the site on Monday, although he couldn't fix the leak without a major undertaking with his crew... at his direction we continued to use the shower, allowing the water to drip into the pan (hopefully it's fixed now)! Also, there's no working grill at the house, so we rented one locally, but unless you grill out every night it really isn't worth the extra cost; the owners should really look into getting a quality grill for this beach house. The pool started getting green halfway through the week & although we called no one came to vaccuum it or anything, however we were having some pretty rough weather by the end of the week. Btw, the dishwasher is the quietest one I've ever heard. The flatscreen & satellite were great, as was the wifi conncection for our laptops. We played move-the-furniture game to give enough seating in the family room for our group of 11 (plus 2 babies - which we were also glad we brought doggie gates for the stairwells to keep the little ones safe). Needs to have a shower outside for "washing off" from the beach, but we made do with the water hose. Very nice neighbors, too - except for the grumpy ones to the right. Overall it was a great location & we made a lot of fun family memories on this trip with 4 generations in attendance(latenights with Canasta and apples to apples!). I would certainly recommend it for any family or group of no more than 10... thank goodness for the extra mattresses! And please enjoy the 3 fold-up children's chairs we accidentally left in the garage :)

Bogart, GAGood location, nicely furnished but needs better maintenance
Left on 05/28/2012 for a stay in May 2012
I thought the property was in pretty poor condition for the amount I paid. It needs interior and exterior painting, the L.R. ceiling fan did not work, the master bath shower leaks, the master bath toilet needs repair the carpets are pretty dirty. The property was clean however and it is furnished very well. I loved the master bed. First time I ever slept well every night away from home. The location is perfect but we did not like the beach,(too many shells). I would most likely look for another
