First let me say that I travel a lot and I write reviews a lot. Back when I stayed at the Yellow Sunrise house in June 2011 we had horrible experience. The house was filthy. There were dog feces under the deck and trash really smelled. There were holes in the wall. The back door lock was broken and dangerous to use the slider. The windows were cracked. Most of the lighbulbs were out. The carpet was horrible stained. The interesting thing was that much of this was on the reviews on the Vacation Rental Pro website and the Manager had said all items were taken care of... but when we got there they were not. Additionally this condo shares a very small parking lot with a few other condos and frequently we would come back and have no where to park as the condo is on a very busy road and is very close to the road. I have small children so this was very nerve wracking to me as the road was high speed main road. Additionally the place advertised that one of the guest bedrooms had queen size bed in fact it was a double. There was water damage on the ceiling that smelled of mold. Anyhow - the manager did provide me w/ partial refund but I will never ever rent this condor or thru Vacation Rental Pros again.

First let me say that I gave the rental company 7 weeks to change the listing on this unit before writing this review- This is a condo not a house. It is one of 3 units- you must walk past the other two units to get to beach-no privacy- walls are thin-outside of the building is in disrepair and is one of the worst looking on the beach- which is why outside pictures are not shown on listing (also would give away that it was a 3 unit condo)- inside is dated but clean- except that we had mice! It became a challenge to keep them from eating our food (they ate through cloth bags!)- the mice were in the kitchen- coming in through the cabinets- Outside had piles of smelly trash- dog feces and the trash had not been emptied from previous tenant. Grass had not been cut in weeks. Sent the rental company 2 emails with pictures documenting the above- received one call (after 2nd email) saying I would receive another call- (insert cricket sound here). Better options for your money out there.

We arrive and all of our parking spots are taken as the people renting one of the conjoined rentals had friends park in our spot. The place is in poor condition and cleanliness was terrible. We spent the first couple of hours cleaning the place to make it tolerable for my wife to be comfortable in staying. Not exactly the way I looked to starting my vacation. The place has a musty smell that must be in the carpets as it never goes away. Remotes had no batteries and don't be fooled in thinking there is enough pots and pans for cooking. No radio or grill so bring your own. The location however is great as it sits on the beach.

We booked months in advance and were so anxious to finally arrive at our vacation destination. We were told not to arrive before 3, so that the condo could be properly cleaned. We actually arrived at 4:30, only to find that it hadn't been cleaned at all! The cleaning people arrived at 5:30 and were there until 8:30, so we just sat around, unable to unpack until they left. Very disappointing start to our vacation. But, the condo is in a beautiful location and, although the weather isn't the best "beach" weather in February, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in spite of the disappointing start. The new Publix is very convenient, and Cap's restaurant is a must. We'd come back to this condo.

The unit is very nice, great location close to St. Augustine and great beach area. Nice atrium-like windows overlooking the beach. The tide gets very high at high tide making it difficult to walk on the beach. There is no grill and no radios/stereo in the unit so bring your own. Unit needs some maintenance, there are a few roof leaks, especially in the upstairs guest bathroom.

The view from our rental was amazing. The house was clean and comfortable. We had a slight problem with one of the doors. The maintenance man arrived within 20 minutes of our phone call. He was very helpful and had the problem figured out quickly. We really appreciated his quick response. We would definitely return to this area and use this rental agency again.

Love the location. The furnishing are a little outdated but that leads to the charm. It fits with the location. Loved being right on the beach. There were a few minor maintenance issues but they could be overlooked. If you are not interested in picking apart the things that are wrong, then this place is perfect. We had a fantastic stay! We would definitely recommend this place. I hope we'll get to stay again in the future.

The house was everything that we hoped it would be and more. We will definitely do this again as soon as we can afford it. Vacation Pros was great to work with.I think next time we would like to be more towards the Crescent Beach area.

On the plus side, the pictures did not show how very close to the beach it was. On the minue side, this property was advertised as 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 twins. It actually had 1 king, 1 full, and 2 twins. Our 6' 3" son-in-law had to share the full. The owners said that they have never had a queen bed at this location, so the advertisement needs to be changed to reflect the reality.

location was fabulous; upstairs guest bath is slow to drain and needs attention; outside windows facing ocean need to actually be cleaned, not just rinsed off. Property mgr very responsive when I contacted them.

Great house, location, views, beach access. Some remedial attention needed, which Vrpros took care of in a most satisfactory manner. Maybe next time it will be warmer so we can enjoy the beach (temps were in the 60s).

My family and I greatly enjoyed our week on Vilano Beach. The property was great except for the sliding glass door going out to the deck and the beach - my oldest son had to walk around the entire property each morning to help us lift/open the door...the owner's have stated they have ordered a new sliding door - once in the property will be perfect. We would definitely consider returning - with a new door.

Sliding glass door needs replaced. Very hard to open and close and it is the only acess to the deck and beach. Carpets need to be cleaned. Great location and view.
