Lyn was the perfect hostess ,from the time we arrived until the time we left. Being greeted with tea and cake was a lovely gesture ,our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the added extras added to the experience. We wouldn't hesitate the recommend to Cooperage to family and friends and would definitely stay there again.

We booked a two night stop at the Cooperage in ST austell, the landlady came out and greeted us, showed us to our lovely room, everything you needed for your stay was available. Lyn made us feel so welcome she made us a pot of tea and a lovely slice of her banana cake as we had had a long journey. The breakfast was FaB, so much choice, filled us up for the rest of the day, did not eat anything all day. Will be going back again in July.

It was the attention to detail that impressed us. A fridge on the landing plus wine glasses. We could take in our evening take-away and eat in the breakfast room, which was a bright and airy room. There were fresh flowers in the room (which were changed during our stay). An iron and ironing board were available in our room as were dressing gowns. The clock was a dock for our i-pod which we used. Facial Cleansers were provided in the shower room. The power shower was excellent. All in all a first class B & B. We will definitely return if there is room for us when we book! Lyn and Richard were excellent hosts.

We had a lovely stay at the Cooperage. The slice of cake and pot of tea when we arrived was very welcome. Our hosts whad thought of everything - there was plenty of choice for breakfast including a vegetarian option. The little personal touches like the fridge for use of guests upstairs, the folder of local restaurants and takeaways was very helpful. The location is perfect for Eden and the Heligan gardens. We look forward to visiting again.

When we first arrived at Cooperage, we were very welcomed. The room had everything you need, and more than what you expect from B&B.; Kettle, complimentary hot drink set plus cookies, complimentary mineral water bottle, toiletaries like soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, facial cleansing wipe, hair dryer, iron and iron board, and TV. The shower was powerful and lovely, too. No problem of cold or boiling hot water from shower, which is great! We were offered tea and lovely homemade cake in the breakfast room on arrival. There was a refrigerator in the corridor for guest's use. When we brought back take away food, Lyn kindly let us use her microwave. We also could use plates and cutlelaries. Her husband was ever so kind, and gave us free lift to Secret Garden of Heligan, Eden's project, and Charlestown. Breakfast was lovely. too. Non-greacy healthy, and tasty breakfast was served in lovely sunny breakfast room. I was glad to have choice of herbal tea, vegetalian sausages, which tasted lovely, as well as plenty of homemade yoghurt, and fresh fruits. We were given even a bottle of wine as special offer! It is 6pounds by taxi from the station, and you can also take a bus which stops very close to this lovely B&B.;
You'll love staying at this comfortable B&B;!
