“The best the best the best” We traveled with our 4 children and my mother in law to Treasure Beach for the week. It was absolutely Phenomenal. It is perfectly situated On the beach with two magnificent beach coves 20 steps from the door. Our kids were able to run in and out easily all day. Absolutely highlight however is audrey's fantastic cooking. We made a menu with her for the week and every night after a heavenly day at the beach we were greeted with a traditional, home cooked Jamaica Feast. Book early because this house books up far in advance.

“Peaceful Paradise” Sparkling Waters is an amazing place to stay. We have stayed there multiple times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this property. My favorite thing to do is relax on the pool deck overlooking the beautiful Carribean Sea. If you want to be adventerous there are plenty of day trips/tours to take. A trip to YS Falls is a must. Miss Petrina and Miss Tonarge will take wonderful care of you and your entire group. Rest assured you will have terrific time!

“Most amazing vacation and service I've ever had” There are so many wonderful things to say about this vacation its hard to consolidate it down :) The house is absolutely amazing. Each bedroom is special and unique and the outdoor living space is more than we could dream of. Hio and Nadine were our chefs and housekeepers and I couldn't say anything better about those two - they made the most delicious food, helped us with any favors or questions we had, and probably made too many trips to the grocery store (and liquor store!) than usual for us! Robert was awesome as the groundskeeper - as soon as it started raining (which probably lasted 5 minutes the entire trip) he would appear out of thin air to get the outdoor seat cushions out of the rain. We had such a great time and it was my husband and mine's first time bringing our friends - its a different kind of vacation, much more authentic and cultural than most are used to so we were a little nervous about how they would like it but everyone agreed - this vacation was amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a more relaxing, private, and less touristy vacation spot.

“Jamaican Luxury that won't blow a budget!” If you are looking for a relaxing and luxurious vacation that won't blow your budget, Villa de la Sable is the place. This two bedroom villa, located in Treasure Beach, sits above the water, affording you miles of view, of the Caribbean Sea. You'll be greeted by Petrina, your housekeeper and chef and Leandy, the grounds keeper an go to guy. Pop open a cold Red Stripe and enjoy the tour of your vacation retreat, with the smells of jerk chicken or lobster thermador tantalizing your hunger. The villa is a quaint two story with two bedrooms upstairs, sharing a balcony, overlooking the sea. Downstairs you'll find a good sized kitchen, large living space, dining area and a sitting place perfect for slapping some dominoes. Grab another Red Stripe and take a look around outside. The pool will blow you away, I mean, it's huge with great sitting areas all around and a deck below the pool level that is gigantic and a wonderful place to watch those incredible Jamaican sunsets. This place will make you pinch yourself more than once before the end of the week. Seriously! If there is one fault of this villa, it would be that swimming is not the best on the beach below but a great swimming beach is just a short walk away. If you are more into quiet and beautiful views, I just can't fault Villa de la Sable. Back to your hunger, Petrina is a wonderful chef and housekeeper. Her dishes are tasty and healthy Jamaican fare and will try to fill any requests you may have. Between meals and after, the house is very private. Treasure Beach is no Negril or Ochos Rios. It is a extremely friendly fishing village on the south coast. Anything you have heard about the hassles of Jamaica, are just not here. Please go out, walk down the road, say hi to strangers who will smile and respond with a friendly hello. Stop in a local bar and slap some dominoes with the locals, careful though, they are good! Buy some fresh roasted coffee from Miss Dawn at Smurfs Cafe. A week was not long enough!

“Our family of 10 with ages from 20 months to 70 years had a magi” Our family consisting of my husband and I, our two children, their spouses, and four children ages 20 months, 22 months, 3 years, and 6 years wanted a place to have a family reunion and to get a shot of sunshine in the middle of Winter. We could not have asked for a more perfect place for our reunion for all ages. The scenery was beautiful, the plantings inspiring, the rooms so comfortable, and the staff so welcoming and attentive. There was plenty of fun activities for everyone at our fingertips- a lovely veranda for reading and sunning, a 4 ft. lap pool where our 6 year old learned to swim and the other small ones could play, a lovely beach with a shallow area for swimming and plenty of sand for sand castle building, a tennis court perfect for beginners, even a croquet set, and a picturesque gazebo on the beach where there was always shade and a breeze. The climate was perfect with sunny and dry temperatures of about 85 every day. We loved the fact that we were actually in a fishing village and got to know some of the warm and friendly local people. There were lots of nearby trips to interesting areas which would have been fun to explore if our children were not so young. But our family just enjoyed staying right at Hikaru with only one trip into Treasure Beach and a hike up into the local mountains with Patrick who was part of the staff. The only challenging thing for us was the fact that it takes 2 1/2 hours to drive from Montego Bay over the mountains on two lane bumpy roads to Treasure Beach. We brought the kids car seats and fortunately hired the recommended Treasure Tours. Kevin was our driver and he was excellent having traveled these roads many times each week. This was a trip of a life time which our family will never forget. We hope to be able to return in the near future.

Out of the Blue Villa
Couldn't be more perfect

The house was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures on the website! Directly on a beautiful beach, no tourists in sight, sunsets too amazing to describe, food to die for, incredibly friendly locals who make you feel so welcomed and safe... we want to go back tomorrow! There was so much to do (or not do). Everyone in our group was able to either relax or adventure, depending on what they felt like doing. We were pampered with massages on the balcony, bonfires on the beach, local eats/drinks and everything we asked for. Way better than staying in an all-inclusive resort. Everything is better and its all for you!see more
Pelican's Reach
Absolute heaven!

My husband and I spent 5 days discovering the St Elizabeth area and believe that Great Bay is the very best place to be. Quiet, friendly fishing village that has beautiful beach and surf and little evidence of tourists. Our stay was too short and we definitely plan to return. The accommodations at Pelican Reach are clean and comfortable. Stop for groceries on the way from the airport and angie will cook for you. A very nice perk. She will also arrange transportation and tell you about the area. We felt very at home at Pelican Reach and are looking for dates when we can return. Thank you.see more
Villa de la Sable located on the edge of the sea offering spectacular views
Breathtaking Views and Secluded Getaway

My husband and I had to attend a family reunion nearby and were looking a home to rent. Little did we know we would land a breathtaking oasis with heavenly views. We didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked in the home, due to all of the family activities, which is why every moment was even more special. Petrina was kind enough to schedule our meals around the times we knew we would be home. The first night we arrived, we were exhausted after our flight and drive. Rebecca and the grounds keepers were ready and waiting to greet us. It was relieving to know Petrina had already prepared our dinner and there was nothing to worry about. We lucked out as there was no one else renting out the other homes, which meant we had the pool all to ourselves! The oversized pool and jacuzzi overlooking the crashing ocean waters was like a scene from a movie. We spent time reading on the hammocks and enjoyed the simple life. Even though the grueling summer heat would normally be uncomfortable, there was something about having all of the windows and doors open with the ocean breeze flowing in. We had air conditioning in the bedrooms, which was very important for us while we slept. Overall, with the views, private chef, and serenity, you cannot beat this property. We can't wait to return and enjoy our next trip.see more
Villa Serene, Jewel of Black River
Couldn't ask for more! Awesome experience

Everything at Villa Serene was perfect. The setting of the villa, the amenities, the location, the access to the beach and to the Pelican Bar, I could go on for ever.. Needless to say, Sheryl and her team are super awesome. Shamoir is not only a great cook, but also a gem to have around the villa 24x7. He disappears as soon as his work is done, but at the same time, is just a shout away to arrange for anything from a cab, to a boat ride, to a run to get fish, etc. You need anything you call Shamoir and it will be arranged. We can't wait to head back there next year! Not related to the villa, but the only concern around the villa was that there was no real clean place to sit on the beach. Next time, I am going to ask Sheryl to clean up some area right outside the villa to lay out towels and beach chairs, so that we can hang out without having to worry about stepping on cow dung or dog poop :)!see more
Doubloon Villa, large pool and sandy beach at heart of Treasure Beach
Doubloon

I am lucky to have just come back from my 2nd stay at Doubloon in 4 months! This trip my husband & I invited my 2 sisters and their husbands to join us. This was their first trip to Jamaica and I can tell you there is nothing more exciting than introducing someone to Treasure Beach for the very first time! As always, I used Treasure Tours to book our accommodations and airport transportation. Rebecca, Debbian & Nickel provide a fantastic service and it is a pleasure doing business with them! Our Treasure Beach vacations start with a pick up at the airport; Kevin kindly takes us to Mega Mart to load up on some much needed supplies :-) and then brings us to Border Jerk for lunch for a quick bits to eat before we make the ceremonious drive to Treasure Beach. I never, ever take the drive into Treasure Beach for granted..... Coming around the corner and seeing the the village & sea always warms my heart. Upon arrival at Doubloon we were greeted by Hio, Nadine & Robert and then it was off to show everyone the property. No surprise, everyone was veryyyyy happy with the accomodations! And even happier with the glorious view! Doubloon is a very comfortable vacation villa for 3 couples... Everyone was more than satisfied with their king bed rooms with ensuite baths. Judy has done a fantastic job keeping the amenities at Doubloon top notch. There are many places to sit as group as well as spots to go sit if you want to quietly read or nap. Hio and Nadine keep the place clean and tidy while Robert tends to the outside; the newly extended pool deck was our most favorite place to be day or night! The days beds and chaise lounges are comfortable and there is the right amount of sun & shade! We six spent the week pool side, riding the waves, walking the beach and exploring around town. Of course we did the Black River/Pelican Bar boat trip, had to show the sisters what it was all about as they have been hearing us talk about it for 12+ years!! A first for me was Dennis's boat trip to a private beach for lunch (we booked this about 3 weeks before arrival, thru Debbian) and what a wonderful day that was! the beach was beautiful and the food (crab appetizer and lobster with rice & vegetables) was DELICIOUS! The rum punch & beers were pretty good too :-) Luckily, none of us are picky eaters and we were happy to eat anything Hio & Nadine cooked! They were very helpful with planning meals and lettin us know what was available so we could eat fresh & local as much as possible. Breakfast was served poolside and dinner inside at the dining room table. One of our favorite meals was the curried goat. The banana panackes were also a group favorite. As was the coconut cream pie. And the calalloo cheese omeletes..... Although we tried to not over eat, it is very hard to not be a member of the clean plate club when these 2 cook for you!! It was a wonderful week and now my sisters understand why we go back to Treasure Beach year after year and sometimes twice a year! Although our schedules are busy and vacation time limited, we are already trying to plan when we six can return together. A HUGE thank you to Judy for sharing her piece of paradise! Much appreciation and thanks to Hio, Nadine, & Robert for taking such good care of all us! Shout out to Kevin for getting us to and from Treasure Beach safely! Many thanks to Debbian for responding promptly to all my questions! And much gratitude to Rebecca for her friendship and taking care of the little details that make our trips to Treasure Beach more special each and every time. Is it next year yet?!?! :-) Meredithsee more
Shakti Home-The villa you've been dreaming about
most fabulous plase on earth!

I don't know how to put into words the tranquility this place put back into my life. Not only is it one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, but the peace and serenity that dwells here... this is now going to be a yearly departure to feed my tired soul. We have already booked for next year. To the practicalities. It was just myself and my best friend of 30 years. We have been traveling buddies for many years. We were two gals needing a break from our very hectic lives. She lives in Washington, I live in Oregon. We have both traveled extensively. From the Seychelles to Tahiti. Extensively in the Caribbean. All over Europe. My friend was born and raised in Hawaii. Now we believe ourselves to be real beach connoisseurs. This beach was fabulous. While it didn't have the pink sands of Bermuda, the sand was soft, plentiful, and best of all, within steps from the house, I mean literally steps (maybe 5?) from the gate in the front lawn, you are there, with warm ocean water bubbling around your feet. In fact, it made us concerned what would happen in a big storm, would the house be washed away into the sea? Obviously that is not an issue as the house as stood firm for over 20 years, we were told because of the protective nature of the cove, but you are really right there! Oh, and the wonderful little cove. So private! We would usually have the entire beach to ourselves. No joke! Occasional we would see a family playing in the distance, or one or two people would stroll by, but it was rare. And the water! Pure as silk, perfect temperature to be refreshing, but not any cold shock when entering, and calm enough for swimming. My friend is a swimmer. Each morning she would go out into the calm sea and swim. Oh she loved it so, so, much. But the privacy, now to us, this was part of the beauty of the place. We loved the privacy and isolation. If you are in to partying, or having 50 million things to do in a big club like hotel, this is not for you. I did see that there were things to do in the small hotel strip the next bay over, but we didn't try it out, so can't comment. And there was a binder with places to go see, I can't comment on those either. Once we got here, we loved it so much, we couldn't tear ourselves away. It does take a bit to get here. For us, coming from the Northwest, long flights to even get to Montego Bay. And then a long and winding 2.5 hour drive over very bumpy roads, but very well worth it. We didn't try the local sights, we didn't want to leave Shakti home. We joked, (although it was completely true) that it was a swimsuit to nightgown existence. I didn't even put on shoes the first 5 days of our vacation. A true barefoot vacation! And why would we ever want to leave? Everything we wanted was here. Audrey, the cook, lived up to expectations. The lobster casserole that was waiting for us when we first arrived... I still have dreams of it. Each meal was so generous that there was leftovers to be enjoyed the next day for lunch. Then she would make breakfast each day. Whatever we wanted. I cannot express how gorgeous it is to sit eating delicious local fruit each morning on our lanai staring out at the endless beach and ocean,. So for food? It was right there in our beautiful home. We didn't need to leave. How better than that can it get? Then the house itself. So cleverly designed. Every vista opens onto sea views. And what seaviews! I mentioned the beach and cove before. The endless sea is so amazing. We were so impressed we had to look up on google map to even see where we were. (Excellent wifi in the home) We figured if you got on a boat and went straight out from our home, we would end up in Honduras. Nothing but open sea between here and there! Oh that reminds me, Callman (I can't remember his exact name) the gardner/handyman/all around man on the spot, would catch our fish out front in that same sea! Talk about fresh! Back to the house. The decorations were fresh, lovely, and spot on. Everything spotlessly clean. Beds uber comfortable. Bathrooms perfect. I couldn't have designed a place to my desires any better. And the small pool at front between the lanai and the sea. Perfect size! I had brought floaties from home, although they had nice pool lounges already there. We spend 80% of our time in that wonderful infinity pool, reading, napping, and talking. The weather perfect. Sunshine, floating clouds... truly nirvana. Oh, and we did avail ourselves of the massages. Two different times we had someone come to the house and these were fantastic. They were given in the little gazebo steps from the house next to the sea. Best place in the world for a massage! The ocean waves lapping in sound, the cool breeze blowing, the warm sun on our skin, and the massages..... perfect! The final delight of each day and I will end here. The sunsets. Each night so different, and gorgeous. Never seen such sunsets. And the cherry on top. Venus. Yes, we had Venus rising each early evening. We got so we watched for her each night. The stars the most bright and clear from any place I've been on earth. We vowed before we came back next year we were going to take an astronomy class so we could name all these bright stars. I did read someplace that Treasure Beach is one of the top star gazing places on the planet. I can verify that myself. I have been deep on safari in the Sinai desert and have never seen such stars as these. Unbelievable. Must be seen to be believed. Shakti Home the best. I could wax on forever. All I know is I will be back. Next year. And hopefully every year after.see more
