Above the Stars has it's own boardwalk access directly from the back steps to the beach! . Take an easy walk all island hotspots including restaurants, nightlife, bike rentals, shops, and more. Jet skis, sailboats, beach chair rentals, and beach volleyballs are practically right in the backyard! A great location and property. Unfortunately the interior and decorations look a little tired and need refurbishment. Several appliances not working properly , eg. toaster, phone and internet (later fixed) and a DVD player remote missing, one other DVD player was not connected. All cutlery and china needed to be washed before use along with old cooking pans.Previous occupants dirty linen was left in dining room and mattress and mattress covers soiled.
Other than these items we had a great family holiday and enjoyed St George Island. -

The location of this home is perfect, close to the park, lighthouse, shopping and dining. The amenities are average at best. The carpet is badly stained in all the bedrooms. The kitchen supplies looked like they belonged to a college student. The pots and pans were of poor quality and very old. The vacuum did not work. This was our second year coming to SGI and we have learned that condos owned by someone as opposed to condos that are for sale are much better taken care of. This condo has potential, just needs some TLC.

Air conditioning stopped in middle of night and we didn't have air until late afternoon and the air unit
on lower level in room with bunk beds was leaking out

Lock on the door w/ beach access was broken. A locksmith came to lock it on the first night, but never returnd to fix it. The downstairs bedroom had a terrible foul order due to a leaky airconditoiner. This was obviously a long term problem based on the stains in the carpet. The upstairs livingroom had PBJ all over the door jam and the TV remoted were sticky as well.
Perfect location, but a very dirty house. I reported these issues daily to the property mngt service. My calls were never answered and my messages never returned.
Althouh I look forward to returning to St Georege Island, I will avoid any properties managed by your company due to unresponsiveness to my immedate issues and neglect of obvious long term problems. -

We enjoyed staying here - it was perfect for our family of 6 which included 2 children (6 & 9) my husband & I, grandparents and a dog. It is conveniently located within walking distance to almost everything you need on the island! The layout was great! Down sides were the only beach walk is through the master bedroom on the 1st floor. And the 3rd floor queen bed was uncomfortable. Other than that I would highly recommend it!

the place was very nice but several things need to be updated. all the faucets in the house leaked and the washer dryer held 3 towels max. Bring your own cooking equipment, pans, grill, and utensils. great location and great weather. big negative everyone had to walk thru the master bedroom to go to the beach!

We have 5 dogs and was very glad that we were able to stay in a reaay nice place and location..The house was excellent and we left it the same way...Hope to rent from you again.

We rented Above the Stars for Feb. and part of March 2009. Had we know the property was for rent earlier, we would have stayed there all of Jan. also. The house was very nice with three floors and had everything one needs to stay any length of time. Buffy, our Cock-a-poo was so happy there and could play on the beach, go bicycling and go every where we went. While there my Mother passed away and we felt that it was safe to leave all our belongings including our bicycles, sailboat and Kayak for several days to return home. Sadly to say after returning, to Above the Stars for two more weeks, my wife's Mother unexpectedly passed away, so we had to leave earlier than planned. It's safe, clean, pet friendly, the location was perfect and we were very satisfied. I recommend Above the Stars to anyone and we would like to stay there again and again. Truly a vacation Above the Stars.
