The main living area, located on the second floor, encompasses the kitchen and living room with features that include an eye-catching gas fireplace and a circular breakfast bar that splits the two areas. Altho' I was not crazy about the over-stuffed furniture in the public rooms, bedrooms were very comfortable and the house was perfect for relaxing and having our friends visit. The kitchen was adequately furnished, altho there weren't enough wine glasses. I particularly enjoyed all the different deck spaces, which we used for quiet reading space, game space, cocktail hour group, etc.
The house needs a little attention, ie, the windows look as if they have never been cleaned. A little tlc is in order.
Regarding the staff at Resort Vacation Properties, I think they are a wonderfully cooperative and friendly group, with one exception. One of the young men working the gate to the Plantation was rather surley and needs an attitude adjustment. Several of our guests noticed and commented.
But considering how pleasant everyone else was, we decided to ignore him! It was a great vacation!

We apologize that the cleanliness of the windows did not meet your expectations. Once a year, our properties go through a thorough deep cleaning, including all windows. This deep clean was completed after your visit & no further issues have been reported. We apologize that one of the gate keepers at the Plantation was not as friendly as he should have been. The Plantation is their own entity and are not affiliated with RVP. We have reported this to the Plantation security office & we feel sure they will address the issue with their staff. Thank you for your continued patronage. We are pleased you’ve chosen to stay with us again in 2012 & 2013.
