When we arrived, we found an open sewerage pit on the back side of the beach house. Most of the time, we could not sit on the deck, not to mention try to eat outside on the picnic table! The smell was nauseating! At no time during the week that we were there did anyone come out to work on the problem. We did get a visit from the "Save the Turtles" people, as well as recorded messages and notes all over the house telling us what to do and when to do it. I'm all for turtles, but people count, too! We were told that people enjoying themselves on the beach with their umbrellas, etc. were "trashy" looking and just wait until next year--if they don't pick their stuff before dusk, they will get a warning. If it happens a second time, their stuff will be confiscated and thrown in a dump! Wish someone cared that much about raw sewerage.... Read more
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us this Summer at Easy Does It. We sincerely apologize for the maintenance issue you mention in your review. The septic was under repair and we were having to wait for the Vendor to obtain permitting to complete. We are happy to report that this property has a new system and is working fine. Franklin County has passed a "Leave no Trace" ordinance that requires that all beach gear be removed prior to 9pm each day. We apologize that the volunteers offended you with their passion in protecting the wild life. The beach is for everyone we just have to co-exist! We hope you will keep coming to enjoy SGI and allow us to assist you with your vacation planning!

From the moment you arrange your vacation property with Resort Vacation Properties, whether on-line or speaking to one of their professional, knowledgeable, and courteous reservationist, you feel that you have made the right choice. They understand the importance of a vacation which is care free and enjoyable.
Easy Does It is a well appointed beach front property which provides all the comforts of home. The large open living area provides ample seating to enjoy television or to spend time together. We spend most of our time in the florida room which offers excellent ocean views. It's like you're sitting on the beach but with air conditioning. This property has a large basement which provides separate living quarters as well as multiple games. Overall, an excellent family property for the value.

The home is located on the west end of the beach which for some reason seems to be more peaceful. The home itself is spacious and because almost the entire front is windows you feel as if you're one with the beach and the ocean. After more than twenty years of visiting St. George I must say that Easy Does It is our favorite place by far. The only thing that detracted from the visit is that the house was not cleaned before we rented it and even though it was supposedly inspected it was really yukky. Someone did come right away and cleaned the worse part of it.

We visited this house with 5 kids in tow. You cannot beat the space, and the awesome basement where the boys played games, ping-pong, and enjoyed having their own hide-a-way when they weren't on the beach just steps from the back door.
We had a great time and enjoyed this house!

We have rented from Resort Properties for several years and have always had great service, this year was no exception. This was our first year at Easy Does It and we had a wonderful time. There were 12 family members who visited during our week and all agreed to rent this house again. This house is in a good location. The lay out of the bedrooms was very functional and insured that all could find solitude when needed.
Beautiful and Spacious Ranch

This was a beautiful ranch house with lots of room. So surprising to have a full basement in Florida and on the beach. The furnishings were so comfortable and we felt so at home - it was very nicely decorated and kitchen was well stocked. Love the ranch. No stairs to lug all those vacation supplies, groceries or luggage up. Also being pet friendly and having two big dogs with arthritis in their knees really was the selling point for this home. We've stayed in so many homes on St. George for the last 12 years but this was the first time we rented a ranch. Wow - wonderful experience. Very relaxing and everything we needed. If anything negative to say, it was just that there should be something planted on the side of the house to block the street from the ground level deck - privacy was lacking there and it's a shame because that deck was so great. Some palm trees or oleanders on the street side of the deck would make that area perfect! Otherwise, nothing to complain about this home.

We loved Easy Does It and plan to rent it again. The only thing missing was a radio--no music. Otherwise, perfect! Read more

Easy Does It was almost everything our family could have hoped for. Always thought I needed a beach house "on stilts" and year after year we lugged everything upstairs, then down to leave. Anyway, everyone agreed this was the place for us--extremely comfortable to be in. It offers all sorts of separate areas where 2 or 3 (or more)of us could gather for different forms of entertainment. The two refrigerators really came in handy and the ramp to the beach made life so simple for us! We appreciate that the owners knew how important it was to have our 4-legged family members with us and that was wonderful, too! We've rented it ahead for this coming summer--wanted to be able to return with no problem. I'm sure when word gets out, vacancies at this place are going to be difficult to find... Only problem was it wasn't clean when we arrived at 3 p.m. I know the company says they can only guarantee entry by 6 p.m., but if that's the case, I don't think we should be charged for that first day--by the time you put everything away, the day's gone! They need more maids!!!
House was great - lack of electricity was not!

We felt like we should have been reciprocated for the lack of power for 3 days in 95+ degree temps(even though it was a natural disaster). We had purchased travel insurance but neither they, nor Resort Vacation Properties made any allowances for the inconvenience.
A house this expensive needs 3 bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs (basement) wasn't comfortable for adults; bunk beds, fold-out couches. Every step upstairs was amplified. Read more

Thank you for taking the time to respond to our request for feedback. We apologize that the unusual weather event and subsequent power outage in July corresponded with your visit. We know this was a terrible inconvenience. Many of our guests filed claims with the travel insurance company and had very positive experiences, so we’re not quite sure what happened with your particular situation. One of our managers will be contacting you directly to discuss your specific circumstance. Again, we apologize that your vacation experience was not ideal on this trip. We are confident that we can find a remedy that will be satisfactory to all parties.
