While the maximum overnight occupancy is 20 people, it is uniquely designed to accommodate and serve up to 40 people for reunions, weddings and other extraordinary events. This beautiful & well-maintained beachfront home was perfect for our large family group! The living areas are generously sized with comfortable seating. The modern kitchen has a 6 burner stove, and ample countertops & eating space. The 2 dishwashers, elevator, & extra ice maker were much appreciated. There were numerous gathering areas, tv's, etc. so that everyone felt comfortable. The raised pool meant no mosquitoes! The views were terrific and the beach uncrowded!
The 7 bedrooms, each with private bath, were great for quiet time & sleeping. We taped numbers to the bedroom doors and each couple drew a number!

This was our second visit to St. George Island, the first at Plantation Palace. Plantation Palace certainly met the needs of the four families who stayed here. St. George Island is our new favorite summet destination. (Our neighbor
's daughter just book a wedding at Plantation Palace).
We enjoyed all of the ameneties of PP, particularly the front swimming pool. It was nice to be able to cool off before or after a visit to the beach. We loved the addtional ice maker. Sometimes the smaller convenienes make all of the difference.
We were disappointed in the weeds growing near the house. A little attention to detail would make a difference. Also, the gas grill was in poor shape and unusable. Still, overall, Plantation Palace met our needs. -

Plantation Palace was great. All 17 of us had a great time. The kitchen was fantastic, plenty of the necessary tools for all the cooks, plenty of dishware. Pool was beautiful. Great washer and dryer.
The gas grill needs to be fixed and a couple good coffee makers would have been nice. Had to rent beach chairs.
Would highly recommend.

We apologize that there was some trouble with the gas grill during your stay. Due to the saltwater environment of our barrier island, outdoor grills tend to have more issues with corrosion than elsewhere. We try our best to assure all amenities are in good working order before a guest’s arrival but from time to time a problem does not surface until a guest actually uses that particular item. Again we apologize for the inconvenience of not having a working gas grill during your stay. A park style grill has been recently installed at this property for guests’ enjoyment and we are pleased to report that a new coffeemaker was also added this summer. Thank you for your patronage. The house was amazing. This was our third trip to St. George Island through Resort Vacation Properties - each house we have stayed at has been excellent. This house by far outshines all the others. Spacious, comfortable, clean, and just awesome. Weather was great the whole week as well. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked again for next year.
