It was a memory to sustain me for a year! Great facility, beautiful scenery, safe and quiet...
Just what we needed

We spent the week between Christmas and New Year on St.George Island. The island was quiet - but most shops and restaurants were open so it was a perfect way to relax and enjoy the family. We brought lots of books and music - so we walked on the beach, read and ate. Fantastic - and we hope to repeat the experience in the future.
The house was perfect. We loved the location - right on the beach and walking distance to the shops. Very comfortable and well equipped.
We Loved it!

The house is just great, having a pool shared only by 5 families and right on the sand is just lovely. The furnishings were very comfortable. The house has all you would need for a week. Location is great especially for families with older kids who want to be closer to shops, ice cream parlor etc.. The only downside is that is right by the main public beach so certainly more crowded than other stays we have had on St George. We for sure would return.

Good spot if you want to be in town.

This is a very nice unit with a great layout. The best part of it is the location. It is right near everything in town. Just a short walk to the grocery store, package store, Rv's selling fresh fish, oyster bar, restaurants, lighthouse, playground, etc. However, the downside is that it can be a little noisy in the evenings and the beach can be crowded (right next to the public beach pavilion). If you want to be within walking distance to everything, this is a good spot. If you're looking for quiet seclusion, try another place. Nice pool.
Great location on the island!

Loved this property. All stores and restaurants are in walking distance. We liked the easy access to the pool and beach. Would rent agin!

After staying in the house a couple of years earlier, we returned to the exact same house because of how much we liked it. This is SGI, so there's not a whole lot of "civilization" but that's one reason we go there, and what there is all within walking distance. The beach access is great, it's like your own private beach. The public access nearby doesn't really make it that crowded, it even gives the kids a few new friends to play with for the day.
It is a little more pricey than some of the older houses nearby, but it is definitely worth it to me and my family, so still an excellent value.
We are going back in 2012, and were disappointed to find that someone already booked it, so we booked "C" instead. I think all 5 houses would be equally fine.
Little Slice of Heaven

We have stayed in One Charleston Place D for the past two May's. Our Son, Daughter in law and grandaughter have joined us and we have spent a wonderful week on SGI. Check in was easy, location was perfect and the house met all our expectations of a home away from home. Renting bicycles, walking on the beach at the State Park combing the sand for sand dollars, playing with Isabelle on the playground and the food, wow! Who needs high rises, fancy restaurants, and amusement parks when you can enjoy a week on SGI and have a relaxing time at the little slice of heaven!!
