We had 5 adults and 6 children stay in this home and had plenty of room. The house was very nice and we would stay in it again. We were here in October and had the beach to ourselves, perfect weather also. We had an issue with the water heater and Resort Vacation Properties got someone out to fix it within hours of my call. Groceries on the island and even off at the nearby town were over the top expensive. Wished we would have brought staples/beverages with us from home.

I Pearijules Place is a very special home. It has recently been redecorated and is a delight to stay in. The furnishings and facilities are the very best. It's location in the St. George Island Plantation is one of the best. It has great access to the beach. The bedrooms and living areas are very comfortable and well furnished. We spent five week there and enjoyed every minute.

We had a wonderful time at 1Pearijules Place! We enjoyed the open plan of the home, and that amazing view of the gulf from the living and dining rooms, the covered porches were great.
The kitchen was nice for making big meals, plenty of room for a couple cooks to work in!
The view is breathtaking

This ocean front home was wonderful - the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans - a pot large enough for our shrimp/crab boil and a water pitcher large enough to make sangria. The refrigerator started leaking inside - I called maintenance and they came and fixed it within 90 minutes. My only complaint was the top of stove was not level since the stove does not fix the opening and they had to jerry rig the stove to fix the opening. Otherwise, plenty of seating for everyone - the beds were comfortable - just a great house. Read more

1 Pearijules Place was a beautiful house. The best family vacation we as a family have ever been on. The house was so comfortable for 7 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 children. It was so relaxing and the beach was awesome. We left all the fishing poles for the next guests. We will be back next year at 1 Pearijules Place. Thank you very much Read more

Two Families - DRIVEN from WI!

We drove away from the wintery gray of Milwaukee, WI to be together in a warm, non-commercialized house on the ocean, with a (heated)pool. Was it worth it? You bet. Can't wait to do it again. 1 Pearijules was perfect for us in almost every way - only wish it had a hot tub! We loved the location - steps from the beach; the serenityof Plantation's gated community and strict boating rules, the accessibility to the "strip" for whatever we needed and other touristy nick-nacks we didn't need, and the beautiful weather we were blessed to have during our stay.
The house had just about everything we needed, except a guide on how to use the t.v.s,(for the kids to have some quiet time). Our search for the perfect house for us took hours of internet research, e-mails, and phone calls. It paid off! There were only a few things that were not perfect - the stovetop didn't allow food to cook evenly (darn old electric coils), and the outdoor grill was 90% rusted out. We also found the sleepersofa in the living room area quite uncomfortable - pretty bad when 10 & 12 year-old boys complain about not sleeping well on it. Otherwise, we'd drive 23 hours again to stay. Owners were very accommodating about letting us check in a day off of their usual schedule, and were very nice to work with for details on the pool being heated, etc. Had some trouble getting an accurate price quoted initially because of all the extra *%!$# fees/taxes, but by the time we got that all figured out, we had already committed a considerable amount of $$$ for the deposit. Better communication about the actual cost W/FEES, TAXES, etc. would be appreciated upfront. 1 Pearijules is a great place to get away from noise, enjoy nature, and those you are with; we talk about our trip together all the time, and can't wait to plan another one in SGI! Thank you for taking the time to respond to our request for feedback. We are delighted that you and your family enjoyed your stay at 1 Pearijules Place and found the home & location well suited to your group. Thank you for your thoughtful comments about the improvements you’d like to see made to the home. We have passed these comments on to the owners for their review & consideration. We are pleased to inform you that a new park style charcoal grill was installed shortly after your visit and no further issues have been reported. We apologize that there was some confusion on the rate. Some of our owners choose to cross-promote their property through vrbo.com and other similar websites. From time to time there may be a discrepancy in the property descriptions. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Thank you for your continued patronage. We are pleased you’ve chosen to stay with us again in 2010.

The service was great! The house is just beautiful and a perfect place for our daughter's wedding. The beach and walkway made the wedding that just more beautiful. The view is outstanding from the living area as well as bedrooms. Had fun in the pool and loved being on the porches to watch the sunrise and ocean. Everything was great but all of the stairs were the least favorite of the house (lots of steps to walk up).

The home had potential, but definitely needed some help. When we walked in we were greeted by broken tiles on the stairs. Could be dangerous, but surely unsightly. The screening around the pool was torn and falling down. The kitchen was wonderful and the bedrooms were certainly adequate. Overall, the house had a rather raggedy look that I do not expect in an upscale vacation home. Read more

Thank you for taking the time to respond with your thoughts about 1 Pearijules Place. The property owners are very interested in guest feedback and because of it, they have made many improvements to this home. As you alluded to in your feedback, the kitchen has been completely renovated including granite countertops. They have completely replaced the broken tile on the staircase. The screen enclosure was removed and now the deck feels more open and it is encircled by a nice wooden fence. The master bedroom has been freshly painted and the owner purchased brand new furniture. The master bath has also been improved with new paint and they replaced the tile around the jetted tub and in the shower. If you get a chance, please visit our website because new photos have been posted. We hope you like the changes made and if there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know.
