This attractive townhome overlooks the pool & has a great view of the beach. Multiple TVs/DVD/VCR, stereo & CD player along with a nice assortment of books, games, puzzles & family videos. Very tastefully decorated with ceiling fans in all rooms & just steps away from the beach. Two dogs up to 25 lbs. are welcome. Sorry, the fireplace is unavailable. Good location, next to the beach and by the pool, clean and comfortable. We would likely return to this unit again. Our month (January 2010) was a bit colder than normal, and this crimped our style some. Still, the unit was comfortable and kept us warm during our stay. As with most rentals, you'll find a few things that don't work or you wish were different. Only three of the burners on the kitchen range work. This, according to others at the complex, is something that has been this way for several years. Still, how many burners does one need. And, some of the appliances, like the fridge, are beginning to show serious signs of wear. But, they still work. All-in-all, we would stay here again. Resort Vacation Properties was easy to work with and we did enjoy our stay, despite the cold temperatures. While we enjoyed the deck throughout much of our stay, it did appear to be in serious need of replacement. I'm not sure it would be safe to step out on the upstairs deck.

A new refrigerator has been recently installed as well. With regards to the decks; decks are inspected frequently & necessary repairs are made. This unit needs some serious updating--furniture, TVs, the plastic decor. We had to have resort vacation properties come several times. They came quickly and took care of the problems.

Members of my family and another couple joined us for the weekend on a fishing trip with Captain Clint from Journeys. We liked where we stayed in Unit D-4 at 300 Ocean Mile. We had the pool right in front of us and the deck did not have the bright sun on us in the morning, so it was very pleasant to sit and enjoy each morning while you drank your coffee. The boardwalk to the beach was very close to our unit and the pool. It was nice not having a lot of stairs when you entered the unit from your car. Everything was clean and we would recommend the unit to others. We do plan to return to that unit in particular for future trips. Great location!

We love 300 Ocean Mile and the D-4 unit is in a wonderful location. We loved the upgraded cabinets and kitchen tile, but we were a little disappointed that the unit seemed to have evidence of less than quality fixtures. They were small things like the toilet paper holders, kitchen cutlery, living room furniture. We hope that the rest of the unit begins to see upgrades like the kitchen cabinets.
As to 300 Ocean Mile itself. We've been staying at 300 Ocean Mile for about 5 years now. We love that end of the island and the units are very convenient. We would like to see more grills. We ran into a waiting line and ended up not grilling this time. (We brought all of our food home frozen.) We also wondered if there could be pet waste trash recepticles at the beach entrance to the boardwalks (very tasteful receptacles of course.) -

My two girls and I can down to St. George Island after a long hard winter of working and school work...We have been coming to the Island for many years and own property but have not developed it...The Unit was nice, but when I turned the master bedroom sheet down on the bed I found blood stains on the mattress that were very unsanitary. I found it unbelievable that one would rent a unit with large blood stains like on a mattress. I called Resort and they called the owner, who sent word that they would not replace the mattress...I spent one week with no sleep..I pulled the mattress off and slept on the box springs. I could just not get any rest under these conditions. To rent a Unit and have a mattress that this is appalling. If there was a health department I certainly would have called them and reported my situation....I have stayed at 300 Ocean Mile for many years and I certainly would not go rent this unit again. I get upset just think about the situation.
