Peacefull & relaxing.
The decor was a little dated, but size & layout of the condo was very convenient. The kitchen cabinets & appliances could use a little updating, also. I left my camera & some books in the unit, and they were conveniently held for me in Eastpoint. I loved being right on the beach, and the location was definitely the high point.
Gorgeous beaches, beautiful condo, perfect vacation
We have been enjoying the condos at 300 Ocean Mile for 15+ yrs. The staff at Resort Vacation Properties are easy to work with, helpful, and maintenance is quick to address any problem that might crop up.
This was our first time in this condo, and it was beautifully appointed and comfortable. We especially appreciate the fact that pets are welcome. It makes our vacation complete!
One week at 300 Ocean Mile in SGI in spring of 2012
The condo my wife and I rented in St. George Island is located at the east end of the island just before you get to St. George Island State park. The unit (I-2) is a tri-level condo in very good condition and is located on the Gulf beach. Parking in the complex accommodates one covered vehicle and one sun-exposed vehicle. Not a problem with me because I took only one car. We brought our 2 beagles with us -- a primary benefit of SGI is the permissive pet policies. The kitchen was fully stocked with implements and flatware. A trip to the grocery store in apalachicola (about 13-15 miles away) took care of our need for breakfast and lunch time provisions. There are modern TVs in both bedrooms and in the living room. We did not use either of the 2 pools in the condo complex, but they are well-maintained and conveniently located. My wife and I took frequent bike rides on the Island (rentals were $30 each for a week with delivery included). We also visited restaurants in apalachicola and in Carrabelle (20 miles) for great seafood dining. The stay in SGI was just what we wanted in a vacation and we look forward to returning again.

liked the locaction. Kitchen was a bit small and as I said before it was full of fleas.

Unfortunately not all pet owners are as conscientious as other and it takes time for an infestation to rear its ugly head. We know this was a terrible inconvenience for you and for that we certainly do apologize. We appreciate you reporting the flea problem to us. We only wish you would’ve allowed us to have the home sprayed during your visit, but understand that you preferred to have the situation handled upon your departure. Annual Beach Vacation - Fabulous
We have enjoyed renting from Resort Vacation Properties for two years. Everything is always ready for us a check-in. They can answer any questions and are very helpful. Last year we rented a condo on the pool, so this year we chose the beachfront. I-2 was a great condo to stay in. It is literally just steps away from the beach, which is beautiful and totally not croweded. The condo itself is well decorated and spacious, and just about every room looks out on the Gulf, and from the front you can see over to the pool. We look forward to renting this condo again in the future.
