OhioA family vacation
Left on 10/11/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We had the most pleasant stay at a Seaside Retreat Too. There were 6 adults and 2 dogs. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Being right in the beach was great. It was always a quick trip up to the house for snacks and drinks. The pool was amazing and huge. There isn't much patio/deck space around the pool but having the shallow section to set chairs in was nice. The home is right beside the general beach access for the other homes on the street. We didnt notice much traffic on this access. It was a pleasant surprise to find a dumb waiter right inside the entry that took our stuff right up into the kitchen. It was great for all the grocery bags. We typically rent a house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina but we loved this house and area so much we have already booked a week for next year.

Lovely home! It shows that the owner takes much pride in the home and very much wants to accommodate their guests.
The house actually looks better in person than the pictures.
Thank you for taking such good care of us. -

What a wonderful house. We could not have asked for anything better. We were without power for three days and nights due to a power outagle on the entire island b/c of a water spout taking out the power to the island but we had the gas grill and the fish fryer so we were able to manage. The pool was the best. We could not have asked for a better beach home for our week of vacation.

Union City, Tn.The Best House on the Beach!!!
Left on 01/23/2012 for a stay in September 2011
The house was fantastic, service was great, they are always friendly and respectful. Even the maintenance crew recognized us from our spring visit and made us feel welcome. A Seaside retreat Too is perfect for those that want to be right on the beach with wonderful views. The kitchen is very well equipped with restaurant quality appliances and pots and pans galore!! I cannot say anything bad about this house or Resort Vacation Properties.

This was a very nice house in area we had stayed before. there were 6 adults and two small dogs in the house. The only issues we had was there were a couple of circuits kicked out that were not typical and maintenance had to stop by and reset. The lights in the pool did not work, but that was not a big problem (mosquitoes were terrible, but that is not the homes fault). We also had to wait until about 7pm to get into house after arriving around 5pm, and we had to do a little additional cleaning, but that is not too unusual.

We lived on St George for three years a number of years ago and fell in love with the natural beauty and peace of beach living...this home is very nice and private. Our family joined us for that week so we ate, laughed, drank and sang...we'll be back...but not like arnold...

Chickamauga, GaAwesome experience on St. George
Left on 06/13/2010 for a stay in May 2010
We were delighted with our home at St. George. Six adults stayed in complete privacy and comfort. The amenities were just like home, the beds were super comfortable, and the outside accessories-gas grill, picnic table, chairs and chaises for the beach-made beach living gracious. We cooked in a few nights and I wished for a food processor in addition to the blender. We also would have liked a few more instructions about the aC, but then, we never visited the rental office, we just went directly to our home with our keyed entry assured. Nice!!! The beach was deserted until the weekend. The lack of an elevator was a discomfort to an older traveler, but she used the deck access. The dumb waiter made unloading luggage very nice.

The house was nice, but the island was mundane at best. Seems run down and abandoned. Seems to have gone down dramatically since we visited five years ago.

Thank you for providing feedback on your vacation rental experience. We are pleased that you found A Seaside Retreat Too well suited to your needs but are disheartened at how you describe the island as “mundane”. We find most visitors come to experience the seclusion & peacefulness that the island offers. The county has taken several steps to add amenities to the natural beauty of St. George Island to accommodate our full time residents as well as visitors. The county installed a bike path which runs from the entrance to the Plantation community west to the State Park boundary. Daily, we see folks out enjoying this amenity—ridding bicycles, jogging, walking their dogs or strolling along hand in hand. The newly erected St. George Island Lighthouse & Visitor Center at the center of the island has also added a keeper’s house museum and landscaped park which has become a wonderful place for people to gather & enjoy the sunshine. Again, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay, but are discouraged by your categorization of the island as mundane. Should you choose to visit the Florida Panhandle in the future, we hope you will give our beautiful island another try.
Best Wishes, Resort Vacation Properties

Wonderful vacation home on gulf with fabulous views, hot tub on deck overlooking ocean, steam shower ,well appointed kitchen and miles of bike/walking paths. The home is beautifully decorated and perfect for families. We have stayed at multiple rentals on the Florida coast and would definitely return to a Seaside Retreat Too.

Resort vacation properties did a fine job as always....from the booking to
accommodating us at check in even thought we were past their closing time
through immediately sending maintenance to help start the wireless internet
once we were in the house. The house was fantastic, it was remodeled in the
spring of 2009 and the owner did a very tasteful job. They used high end
finishings including the appliances which was a very nice touch, furniture, and
even cookware that was very well stocked and very nice quality. We also like
the fact they used high quality deck furniture and outdoor grill. Good location
in Plantation. Nice place, we'd rent again. -

Left on 12/14/2009 for a stay in October 2009
We were extremely pleased with the house and the service. I liked not having to check in and just using the access code to enter the home. We especially enjoyed the gourmet kitchen, hot tub, and unbelievalbe view from the front porch or living room. The decor was better than the pictures. The closenss to the beach was the best we have stayed at. We least liked the upstairs room because it did not cool as well as the rest of the house. We ended up using the main level bedrooms instead. I would definately rent this home again.
