We had 6 homes plus the clubhouse rented for a wedding party. Everything was perfect...including the weather. It was nice having friends and family so close together for the event. The homes were clean and spacious, tho the sounds carry easily from room to room so everything seems 'noisy'. Overall, a very good stay.
The atlantis was everything we could hope for-a wonderful house!

The house was a gem. I found the management of Vacation Resort Properties to be very rigid and, depending on who you spoke with at the office, you were given a totally different answer to the same question. If you could rent the house using another rental agency then I would say go for it!! Read more

Thank you for taking the time to share your vacation rental feedback with us. We are pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay at Atlantis. We regret that you were displeased with the handling of your reservation. Unfortunately we were consistently being given conflicting information from the other party involved in the special event that was planned to take place at Resort Village, which included multiple homes in addition to Atlantis. Ultimately, concessions of our normal policies were offered but were declined. Due to the special requirements and guidelines involved with special event rentals, we advise guests who are interested in hosting special events at our properties to discuss their plans specifically with our Special Events Coordinator to ensure accurate information and proper handling. Again, we apologize for any confusion. Should you choose to visit St. George Island again in the future, we hope you will allow us to serve your vacation rental needs.

Relaxing, Stress free Vacation
Left on 01/07/2010 for a stay in August 2009 | Ada
We love the way these houses are arranged..we stayed
in Coral Sands in 08 and Atlantis in 09..the pool is
WONDERFUL..the grounds keeper is very helpful and
went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The
only thing that could be improved would be the
kitchen..but most people probably do not cook much
while on vacation, so I can understand the kitchen
not being top priority..but overall we had a
wonderful, relaxing, stress free week. See ya'll in
the summer 2010. Thanks, Larry & Ada Giles
Great Long Weekend Escape

On the spur of the moment my family and decided to take a long weekend right before school started. We found a great deal on this cottage and the folks at Resort Vacation Properties helped us work out all the details of the rental over the internet and phone. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We spent most of our time on the middle/balcony level which included the very spacious kitchen and den/TV area. The walk to the beach was not bad. There were not a lot of other cottages on that stretch of the beach so it felt deserted. The small development of which this cottage was a part, is well planned and surrounds a beautiful free form pool. For all you swimming enthusists it has a 25 yard 'lane' running down the middle I would definately rent this cottage again.
Too many people

Biggest complaint was the pool. There were too many people for 1 pool and it was dirty the first 3 days. Also, it was impossible to go near the pool at night due to all the misquitoes attacking mercilessly. Read more

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are so sorry to hear that the community pool did not meet your expectations and hope that this one detail did not spoil your vacation. It is the largest pool on the island and serves just 9 homes within Resort Village. It is a very popular attraction in the warm summer months. Due to the natural and pristine environment on St. George Island, wildlife of all sorts flourishes. This can often include mosquitoes and other pests. We recommend guests include a DEET-based repellent in their vacation supplies as this is the only way to try and combat this issue. Your patronage is very important to us and we hope to be able to serve your vacation needs in the future.

Wonderful vacation for a family. We had grandparents, children and grandchildren. Beachhouse was new and well maintained. Easy short walk to beach and pool at backdoor. Highly recommend.

I stayed in the rental with 11 family members over the Thanksgiving Holidays. We were upset to find that the kitchen was not stocked with enough cookware for our group. The cookware available would have been fine for a family of four but the house was advertised as holding up to 12 and therefore should have had big enough pots to cook for a group that size. We were forced to buy pots and pans.
We had a bedroom door that would not shut and the maintenance crew did come immediatley and fix that problem.
The hottub that we were looking forward to using was broke all week. The pool was beautiful and clean.
The tvs in the house were extremly small and there needed to be one in the downstairs living room.
The sheets were stained.
None of the main rooms had enough seating area for a group or 12 or anywhere near that many people so we never had the option of sitting in a room together.
The ice maker was broke.
Overall the house was nice enough but not made to fit 12 people. Better fit for a group of 6.
Spacious and Quiet

This house is relatively new with comfortable furnishings and almost all needs met. It's a bit of a walk to the beach but the path is very nice. The pool area and the view of it from the house are great. There is virtually no view of the beach, however.
