this was one of the better stays we have had at Sunset Beach.

Left on 10/04/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We have come to Sunset Beach for the last 15 years. Have stayed in many different houses. This was such a good deal that we decided to stay on the bay side of the road. I thought the layout of Beachcomber was great, especially the whole TV and kitchen area. We chose it because the pics made it look like a great place to relax and hang out with the family and that is just what it was. I would say that tv's in the bedrooms might need to be improved.

Thank you for working with us so that we could stay at Beachcomber for a vacation getaway!
Your rental company was efficient, polite, helpful, and simply easy to work with!
The house itself was perfect. We have stayed at several properties in Sunset Beach before and Beachcomber was cozy and well-equipped to say the least! The views of both the ocean and the bay were so relaxing! I love the set up of the upstairs. The kitchen separates the dining and dining/living room areas and adds an additional "space" so to speak. The Island bar provided a perfect place for my husband to work while I cooked meals or whatever else I chose to do at the moment.
This is the first time we stayed at Sunset Beach in late March. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the island was. We definitely hope to do this again sometime! (As well as our annual summer trip to St. George! Twice a year at beautiful Sunset Beach sounds perfect!
      Thank you Resort Vacation Properties!!!

As always, a wonderful trip to SGI. House was comfortable and enjoyed the layout. Well supplied and gorgeous views from front and rear of house! Wish the mosquitos hadn't eaten us alive every time we opened the door! Typical SGI! Didn't ruin our trip!! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

      Beachcomber Review

Left on 12/16/2009 for a stay in November 2009

This house was nicely sized and accomodated our family well during our Thanksgiving vacation. We found the house to be furnished very well, including the outside deck furniture. The kitchen was very spacious and the multitude of sliding doors gave us the ability to open the house up to the ocean breezes.

The intercom system and whole-house radio system was not working, which was a disappointment. Some items in the house need a little maintenance, but overall it was in good shape.

Beachcomber has an excellent view of the gulf and bay area and has an easy walk to the beach even for our mobility-challenged family members. We thoroughly enjoyed the Sunset Beach community which limited traffic and made for an even better stay.

Resort Vacation Properties of St. George Island

      Manager

Thank you for your thoughtful comments on your 2009 Thanksgiving stay at Beachcomber. We are delighted that you found the home well suited to your family and well stocked. We are pleased that you were able to enjoy the picturesque views and cool breezes that our beautiful island has to offer. We apologize that the intercom system was not working during your stay. This is not an advertised amenity and the owner has not decided to replace this system at this time. Again, thank you for your thoughtful comments. We value your patronage and look forward to having you as our guest again soon.
      Sincerely, Resort Vacation Properties

Excellent house, great weather, and perfect family fun.

Left on 10/08/2009 for a stay in June 2009

THis was one of the better rental units that we have been in for our last 7-8 years coming to St. George. We have rented 1-2 houses per year for the past 7-8 years. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach even though it was across the street. The views from the front porches were fantastic. We would rent that property again this coming year but there was a beach front unit available for us, Turtle Tracks, so we took that one. The mattresses were all comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped. There was plenty of seating not only at a table for meals but also for tv watching or just visiting.

The outside shower was excellent and something that we always use. We have a mix of ages from 3 years to 78 years so the elevator was essential.

Again, very happy with this property and with Resort Vacation Properties as a whole.

A fantastic, fun vacation for all 35 of the Pasqua family from a

Left on 07/09/2009 for a stay in June 2009

Our family had three lovely homes - Beachcomber, Turtle Trackes and Whispering Dunes. All three wer very well equiped to provide for all our needs. The homes were large enough that we could share evening meal together. Having laundry facilities available was terrific expecially since we had young children with us and one adult who left her clothes in a Motel in Illinois. Having an elevator was great.

Being so close to the beach was great. Many sand castles were built, children buried in the sand, games on the beach and the water as well as hanging out together and enjoying one anothers company. Family is saying this vacation cannot be topped. We also appreciated having a pool close by for an afternoon play in the water especially for the little ones. We enjoyed watching for and viewing the dolphins. The sea gulls seemed to enjoy our being there and our crumbs.

It is hard to come up with something we liked leasst. Perhaps having to leave after only one week.

Thank you for hosting our family providing information, towels, etc. The properties are lovely and kept very clean and well groomed.

      Comfortable, stylish home

Left on 01/27/2009 for a stay in January 2008

This is a beautiful house, tastefully furnished, and in good condition.
We particularly enjoyed the view of the Gulf on one side and the Bay on
the other with a very short walk to the beach. The elevator was
helpful for moving our stuff into and out of the house. One caveat
was the inferior reception on the TV's and radios.
I know this is a problem with St. George Island in general, but these
      TV's should be updated.

The kitchen was spacious and well equipped.

We liked the home well enough to rent it again for a month in 2009.

This place was very nice except that the living room furniture was quite dirty and we found strange and weird things under the sofa!
Otherwise all was fine except when we had the power failure and had to leave prematurely.

Least liked of Sunset Beach homes

Left on 01/16/2009 for a stay in June 2008

This was the 4th property we had rented at Sunset Beach. I liked Beachcomber the least of the 4. It has a good location--across from a boardwalk to the beach. However, it was the least supplied with everyday amenities. And, the master bedroom (with the sitting area and wet bar) did not have a seperate shower. Trying to shower in a garden tub (which the bottom is made to drain completely) proved difficult.
