We had a few minor problems when we arrived, but they were quickly taken care of by Resort Vacations. We got married on the beach in front of the house and had the reception in the house and the rehearsal dinner in the very nice parking area under the house. It was absolutely perfect for us and our group. The 4 bedrooms with king beds and private baths as well as the other 2 bedrooms with bunk beds that had double bottom bunks was also great for our group and we were never crowded in the least. We would definitely recommend this house for 4 couples or families with kids and would rent it again. The elevator from ground to the first floor was very nice for my eldery mother as well as loading and unloading the vehicles. The pool and area around it were lovely with very nice furniture.

We have vacationed to St George for the past 20 years, and each year we stay in a different house. This is the first house that all the kids and family members want to come back to...again and again.

Wonderful week, We have stayed at Best Ever before
and enjoy it so much. No complaints except I was surprised there was not a comment card let from Resort Vacation company. No welcome gift or note from the agency or the maid card but a nice basket from the owners.
The only thing that needed attending to was one of the new sofas had blood on the back of it as well as one of the throw cushions. But with the print of the couch, it could hae been easily overlooked.
The only other comment about something that would help
the rentors is the thermostats are hard to figure out how to
use them and it was either too hot or too cold. A clear
concise note by the thermostat explaing how it works would
be most helpful.
Otherwise the visit , the view, the food, the experience was
fantastic and we look forward to coming back in the fall.

birthday in September. We had the best time, low key,
comfortable, beautiful stay. the house has almost
everything we needed. I we were disappointed with
anything it's that we didn't catch any fish ;-) -

We have stayed at Best Ever seversl times and love the house and pool. We love that it is on the bike path and there is enough room so that we can all eat at once. The kitchen is well equiped. We only wish it had a better grill outside.

The stay was great. Pool heater broke and took 2 days to fix (we had paid extra to have the pool heated). All kitchen utensils had to be washed because were dirty. Rooms were nice and spacious. Great having a bathroom for each bedroom. Beautiful view.

We had a great week with our children & grandchildren!! We have been going to St. George for about 5 years but this was the 1st time we stayed at "Best Ever". It was great!
Everyone had their own space and we throughly enjoyed all the amenities the house offered.

I rented the Best Ever as my wedding gift to my son and his fiancee, because they wanted to have a Beach wedding, close to my son's hometown, Tallahassee.
The wedding was held there on the beach, and the reception was held at the beach house. My son, who just happens to bein a wheelchair, and the bride's family all came down from New York and Rhode Island. (This included her two young children from a previous marriage)
The house was perfectly laid out for the
reception dinner. Everything we needed, we found in the kitchen. The traffic flowed smoothly from the dinning area, living area, and onto the porch areas.
My husband and I stayed with the newly wedded couple and our new grandchildren for the entire week.
We all had our own private areas of the house, but there was plenty of room for us all to be together when we wanted to.
Everyone loved the house - and we all hope to return in the not-too-distant future.
It was definitely "The Best Ever".
I would definitely recommend it for a wonderful vacation - or, for a wonderful Beach wedding! -

We liked the house but felt for the money it was a bit overpriced. We have rented many beach houses in the Florida Panhandle and this house did not live up to the our expectations based on the houses that we had rented in the past. It was average but needed many repairs. We could not open many of the drawers to store our clothes, the house was in need of painting, the deck furniture was broken and just plain dirty. It was very roomy and we had a large group so the size met our needs. It was on the beach which was great. We felt for the money we paid the house would have been in much better condition.

The house was very clean and fully stocked with cooking utensils, serving pieces, and linens. It was obvious that the property is well maintained and very lovely. It was a perfect place to spend Thanksgiving with my whole family.
Access to the beach was amazing - as close to the beach as you could get.
The pool was small, and it would have been nice if it were larger. Also, there perhaps could have been a better selection of seating on the porch rather than the plastic upright chairs. -

st george island is very beautiful in itself. the house had everything we needed and was very relaxing. the proximity to the beach was just marvelous. the 5 king beds were most comfy and having the pool for the kids was a great touch, even though it was not very large. fishing was good. we all had an excellent time. 7 adults and 4 kids from 4yrs. to 9 yrs.

I had no complaints about the house.
It really was Best Ever. My problems
were with the miscommunication over
housekeeping. I booked for 2 weeks,
Dec 20- Jan 3. At checkin I asked about maid service at the end of the first week. bed changing, restock towels, etc. Front desk said
I was entitled to it free of charge
since I was staying 2 weeks. When Friday came and I called housekeeping, they said they would come but I would have to pay for it.
So I said no way not at 600 plus $ per day am I paying any extra. I told them to drop off a change of bedclothes and towels and I would be my own maid......
I love the house and my family does too but this time has left a bad
taste in my mouth about Resort V. P.
I had always used COllins rental before renting Best Ever for the
first time in August 2008, and loved the house so much we came
back for Christmas.
Other housekeeping duties were neglected in the house. All mirrors
were dirty, furniture needed dusting. Multiple lightbulbs were
out in bathrooms, showers. Sofas and
shams are filthy, need cleaning badly. The arm covers and shams were
so bad, we took them off while we
were using the house.
But say again the house is lovely and we enjoyed all the conveniences
it had even if the housekeeping was not up to Best Ever standards.
