This beachside home offers spectacular Gulf views from covered decks on all levels. All bedrooms have private baths and hardwood floors in living area. Multiple TVs/VCR-DVD combos, stereo with iPod/MP3 player. Dogs under 40 lbs. are welcome. No cats, please. Sorry, the fireplace is unavailable. This is a beautiful home with a beautiful view. It is only steps to the beach, and had a great private pool. The house was very spacious with lots of room for all of us. It could easily accomadate multiple families. We loved that it was pet friendly so our dogs could travel with us. St. George Island is our paradise found, and we will definitley return!!

This was our first visit to SGI after many years of enjoying the Outer Banks which we have found to be getting too populated for us. We enjoy somewhere that is truly relaxing with not all of the tourist kind of activities and we found it at SGI. We loved our stay and the house was absolutely wonderful along with the price. We went during off season and didn't mind the rain because the home was so enjoyable. Having our own pool was also nice. We stayed at The Best of Times and then my mother rented a home behind us. She did not use Resort Vacation Properties and had a few problems and we did use Resort Vacations and had no problems along with easy check in and check out. The home was very clean and ready upon arrival. This home is great if you want to be beachfront without paying an arm and a leg because it is just across the street with unobstructed views. Thanks Resort Vacations for making our stay wonderful and also for not having any hidden fees!

This is a beautiful home with spectacular views! Afternoon sun on the pool. Beds comfortable. With Resort Vacation Properties you always know the home will be clean. Wonderful being able to rent a great home that is pet friendly! Only suggestions are to put a couple lounge chairs at the pool and a blender in the kitchen.

The home was very clean and a large amount of starter supplies were in the kitchen and bathrooms. The view was gorgeous and the house is located very close to the beach access. Loved having a thermostat on each floor! The pool is clean and a nice addition!

Really liked the corner lot, right across from the beach--- we've stayed oceanfront before and not really felt as much like you were on the beach as this place. Nice big porch. Best stocked kitchen of any of the houses we've stayed in. It is right across from a public access (small as it may be) so this made for a little more of a crowd, but nothing that makes you feel cramped. This is a great house for 3 couples and a couple of kids.

We were very pleased with our stay at "Best of Times." It was our first visit to SGI, and we will return if the oil mess ever gets resolved. I can't imagine how residents must feel about the threat to their island paradise. But I digress. We enjoyed our stay. Resort Vacation Properties discovered a leak in one of the bathrooms during the precleaning and fixed it immediately. The only downside is that the furnishings (esp. in living room) are somewhat worn, and the carpet in the upstairs bedroom was quite badly stained. Otherwise, a comfortable, clean place to stay.

Best of Times is an excellent house for families or a group of friends. The layout makes it possible to have group time as well as space for individual time. The view from the decks is spectacular and the boardwalk across the street made access to the beach very easy and quick! We simply had everything we needed while staying at Best of Times. Resort Vacation Properties made the whole reservation, check-in and check-out process so simple. We had a small problem with a garbage disposal and they handled the repairs very quickly. Thanks for making this the best vacation ever. We will definitly return!!

What a view! What an absolutely amazing view! We have made St George our family vacation home for almost a decade now and have stayed in several homes on the beach. Best of Times is set diagonally on a corner lot across from the beach and offers panoramic views. Beach access is near effortless because the public access boardwalk is directly across the street withno homes in front of it. The home lends itself to large family vacations because each of the 4 large bedrooms has its own full bath and access to the decks from sliding glass doors. During the day and evening, you can open all of the sliding doors and let wonderful beach breezes flow through the house or just your own while you sleep! Best of Times is exact to the pictures on the rental website and nicely equipped. The home also has a good size pool! The only draw back we found was that the home did not have an elevator at the time we were there and does have stairs to get from the ground floor to the top where the kitchen and living room are. Because of the location of the home on the island, you have excellent access to the bike path and the central island restaurants and shops, but you are also close to the State Park. This allows you to enjoy what this island that we love so much has to offer! St. George Island is a real "vacation" spot- it is like going to the spa for a week!
