Had everything we could ask for. Convienent, right on the beach, allowed our dogs to join us. Very nice home.

This was a great house with lots of space and we did enjoy our stay there. The main level has the kitchen, sunken living area and master suite with extra guest bed and 1/2 bath. Downstairs was another master suite with two other bedrooms, one with bath attached and one with access to bath that is for that bedroom only. The door from the porch opens directly into this bath which was convenient. We loved the house very much but because it was a pet house the carpets were soiled pretty bad. My dogs are housetrained and I do not leave them long enough that they would use the floor however this was not the case with others that had used the house. Tile for these rooms would have been ideal. Other than the soiled carpets the house was a fabulous house and I would have rented it again if not for the soiled carpet.

Well located, nice house on the beach in the Plantation. Very quite there, some people want more action, but for us it was great. We have re-booked for 2010.
As with most rental houses, there are alwauys a few thing which could be improved upon:
Matresses are a bit tired
Sheets and towls are a bit old
The TV is way behind the times
We couldn't get the DVD player to play
Kitchen untensils need to be upgraded. You could easily go to a restaurant supply store and replace all the utensils with commercial grade stuff for a hundred bucks. Same with the pots and pans. I would get rid of 99% of what is there and buy a decent set of cookware for the place. The good stuff will last ten years and your renters who actually cook will notice the difference.
Also, get the cleaning crew to do a more thouough job. The outside patio furniture was filthly and the ceiling fans hadn't been touched on a year.Response from Resort Vacation Properties of St. George Island - 04/21/2010

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at Casa Paradiso. The family room was very comfortable and it worked well for our family...9 adults and 6 grandchildren. The kitchen was wonderful! There was enough working space for several cooks and, for a rental home, a great pantry. The kitchen was also well stocked with nicer than average cookware. The beach was not crowded at all; our family had a lot of room to spread out and enjoy each other. Any questions and issues that arose during our stay were handled promptly. We would recommend this house to other families and would certainly like to return.

We had some problems with a faulty stove and thermostat, but otherwise all went well. An elevator would have been nice for a couple of us who might have gotten out more. In any case, it's a lovely house and we thoroughly enjoyed our reunion.
