We had a wonderful time in a very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped home-away-from-home on SGI! The house is really great - lots of space - even two separate living room areas. There are books and movies galore and lots of beach equipment such as toys, chairs, umbrellas and even a red wagon to pull it all to the beach! The short walk to the beach was fine.
The pool area is nice too - we saw lots of hummingbirds - amazing!
The owner was very helpful in sending us information how to get to the island beforehand and giving lots of information about things to do or discover. We even got a very special gift ;-)- which we will cherish as well as the great memories we made, even though our stay was cut short because of Isaac.
We would very much like to return to the Lair sometime soon. The house is great and offers enough space to get peace and quiet even if there are 2 families sharing it. For us it was just perfect!

The home was wonderful and well equipped. We had plenty of room for all of our guests. The beach was a quick walk from the home and we were secluded at the same time. We would definitely stay here again.

We have been visiting St George for almost 20 years and this house was a favorite. Dragons Lair was well appointed and very comfortable..we appreciated the fully-stocked kitchen with special touches such as Chef knives...cooking was a treat in this kitchen. When we arrived we found a personal note from the homeownwers and a book about the Island...what a special touch! The location of the house was perfect...not too far from the beach but secluded and quiet. We love the pool and the bikes were a big hit! Can't wait for Spring Break 2012!

We had a great time. Great house, very clean. Pool was a bit small, and cold (and to heat it was an outragous price), but overall...wonderful experience!

We rented Dragon's Lair for a month to celebrate my husband's retirement, and were joined by various friends and family members during that time. The house was wonderful, large and spacious so that it was comfortable for all. The kitchen was wonderful and our whole group enjoyed preparing meals there. Great outdoor living spaces and the private pool, plus use of the owners' bicycles made this the best vacation we've ever had!

My family and I stayed at Dragon's Lair in February. We were looking for a place of solitude to recover from some family issues. Dragon's Lair fit the bill perfectly. The home was incredibly beautiful and comfortable. It was very clean and provided us the solitude that we needed. Although it was too cold to go swimming, the pool area was very clean and private. The house is just a short walk to the beach. The reservation process was a snap online and I love the fact that we did not have to stop at the office to check-in. We will definitely come back and stay at Dragon's Lair again.

We spent a wonderful week at Dragon's Liar Beach House. This is the first time that we stayed at Dragon's Liar.The house wasn't as close to the beach as we like, but with the wagon provided by the house the walk was pleasant.Everything was in order when we arrived.
We'd definitely recommend this house - especially if you're bringing kids.There were plenty of bikes and the pool made it enjoyable while grilling. There was plenty of
space for the kids to play in/outside, we actually found time to relax and enjoy the screen in porch.
My advice is to bring a rolling cooler so that you can take it to the beach.
Always bring your own beach towels and sun screen.
We love St. George Island!!!!!

Dragon's Lair was a fabulous home away from home. We love to cook and the kitchen was on par with our home's. The two levels, each with porches for relaxing kept the extended family together but not on top of each other (especially with 2 dogs that were just getting to meet each other!). The homeowners even had bicycles with helmets available for us to use! We will be back.

enough room, and we totally got our rest and enjoyment. We can't
wait to come back. Our kids had the choice of Disney or St. George,

Dragon's Lair is absolutely amazing. There was plenty of room for the four families who stayed in the home. It was nice having two separate living rooms for children and adults. The children loved having their own bunk room, too. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans as well as dishes and utensils. The beach was just a short walk down the road. Wish the house had been closer to the beach to be able to see it better.
