We had a really nice experience at Flamingo Palms. The house was very comfortable...very roomy...the kitchen was nicely done and the dining room table was huge. Enjoyed the pool and sitting on the front of the house or in one of the screened in porches watching the sunrise, or the ocean. We had a wonderful time, with 5 adults and 3 little kids.

Our stay at St. George was wonderful, and we have loved the Flamingo Palms for many years, it is the "only" place to reside in!!!! The owners are wonderful also, they called to check on us, and came to visit during our stay. I cannot recommend anything for them to improve on.
Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home with my family.......we have memories that will last a lifetime.

Owner was taking care of the pool when we arrived.She's a very nice person and seems interested in making sure we had an enjoyable time.
Nice pool, great screened porches.....multiple. Kitchen was very well appointed with dishes, utensils and cook ware.
Home was comfortable, not overdone. Probably could use some updating at some point in the relatively near future.
We have been coming to St. George for years and this actually was probably one of our favorites. -

My family and friends stayed there in June. I have always vacationed there in May so I wasn't prepared for the heat wave. The house wasn't prepared for it either. While the house is spacious and laid out very well, it really needs to be renovated! There are no window coverings in the kitchen and since the sun sets on that side it is miserable to try and sit around the table together for dinner. The air conditioner couldn't keep up with the weather so for a few days it was 80 degrees in the house...for what we paid a week they need to purchase a new unit for the house.

The house is very nice and the location is wonderful. The only porblem that I had is that the owner kept coming over to "check" on things. I know that everyone is not the same but I will always treat someone elses stuff as if it were my own. The owner coming over made us feel like we were kids in school again (not a feeling that I like). If you are going to have a company manage your house then I think that they should be the ones taking care of things around there. Other than that everything was wonderful.

The Flamingo Palms is a great place to stay. It has a very nice private pool and a fantastic view of the ocean. We have stayed at St. George Island 8 times now and this has great access to the beach. Many homes say beach side but you have to walk a ways to gain access to the beach. Beach access is important to us traveling with young children. Since we stayed last they have changed the carpet and that was our only complaint before. I would highly recommend this house and will stay again. The owners called the house just to check that we had everything we needed. That has never happened to us before.
We really enjoyed the house and we love the island.

This absolutely was the nicest home! The home was so comfortable, CLEAN and had all conveniences to make your stay so enjoyable. Loved the pool- just so nice to have a private pool to use without the interference of others. The screened porches were wonderful- such a nice place to sit and a table for eating. We enjoyed sitting at the table eating late afternoon without bugs surrounding you. The view of the ocean was great and so relaxing.
I was most impressed when we received a call from the owner while we were there inquiring as to any negative findings about the house. He stated that he wanted to know if everything was OK-THIS WAS RARE! GOOD BUSINESS AND HOSPITALITY! Our family appreciated the concern.
