Our family stayed in Mirabella for the 4th of July. It was perfect for our family and our 4 legged family members! After a swim at the beach, the screened in porch was just the place for the dogs to relax and dry before coming inside. We can't wait for next year when we will be returning to SGI!

The service from the realty agency which was recommended by a friend was very good (courteous, prompt, well managed).
The house was old, but had an excellent layout, screen porch, pool, wi-fi, comfortable furnishings and a decently stocked kitchen, since we were cooking for seven.
The location for our family (13, 10, 2 children, parents and grandparents) was excellent, just one block from the beach boardwalk. While a corner location, the house is surrounded by bushes and a few trees creating a nice sense of privacy. The screen porch is large and a absorbed a lot of sand.
We had to deal with a few repairs -- a torn screen and detached grill on the porch door, a door to the deck that locked when slammed, and some doors inside that were loose. My husband fixed these. The porch screen was promptly fixed when I called in the problem. However, I feel that these issues should have been dealt with prior to our arrival. The house is old and needs some shoring up. The floor vibrates when you walk across it and shakes the beds. The stove fan does not work.
The kids loved the pool which was serviced twice during our week stay. The state park was beautiful. The fresh fish sold near the Lighthouse was delicious grilled. The floors in the house were dirty, the water main broke while we were they and the outside decks are full of splinters. The bedroom furnishings were poorly maintained.

We are pleased that it was able to be repaired in a timely manner but apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. All of the decks on our properties are inspected annually and any deficiencies are corrected. This deck is older and weathered but it is in a safe condition. The owner has recently installed new living room furniture and is steadily making improvements to the home and we feel sure this trend will continue. This vacation home was located in a good place, one block from the beach and boardwalk. The house was equipped with 70's furniture, a bit old-fashioned and broken but it had a large screened in porch, the pool was very clean and the pool furniture was adequate. Some of the inside windows were broken, the leather couch was also broken. The TV in the living room was new. The little Tv's in the bedrooms all worked. The repairman, Tommie, was always there when we had a problem, which was about three times (new bulbs, fix Tv's, fix single bed when it tilted, clean up yard, etc.) There were pots and pans to meet every need. The dishes were suitable.

We loved our stay at Mirabella. The large couch system in the living room and several tables made life with 10 people very doable. We were able to have everyone around the table on the screen porch, which was perfect. A couple of the beds were pretty uncomfortable, and the fold out couch is awful, but overall, a great experience. Our first time with Resort Vacation Properties, and we were very impressed. We have rented for next year for a month.

We love this house, the location and the pool. The only negative I have is that you're not allowed to use the fireplace. If a renter can't utilize it, you should stop listing it as a feature.

This house was real nice. Everything worked in the house and everything was clean. You could see the beach from porch and the boardwalk to beach was at the house. The pool area was real nice. We really enjoyed our stay at the mirabella.

I was disappointed in the "house" proper. I enjoyed the distance to the beach - nice short stroll - and we enjoyed the pool. We had our granddaughters join us when we stayed in Mirabella and they played in the pool more than anything, so we were happy to have that. The house was very lacking for me. It was rough, more like a fish-camp experience. Over the past few years we have rented 8 houses on the island and this was by far my least enjoyed. This house was merely a double-wide on a foundation. Beds are a biggie for me since I have back problems and if the bed isn't firm then I suffer the entire trip. The beds were not good. The furniture throughout the house was also "just okay". The kitchen is very small and dark. All in all, if you want to just bum on the beach and track in sand or bring your pets and not worry about nice furnishings and newness then this might be the place for you. Me, well, I go to the beach for bright and open houses with happy paint and furnishings. I was disappointed with my choice of this rental and I would not stay in it again or recommend it to my friends unless they wanted to hang out drinking beer and cleaning fish. In other words, it is a great hang out for a bunch of guys.

We have been coming to St George Isaland for many years and have stayed in many diff houses. For the last several years having a pool has been a must! Mirabella was a great house for us because of its location. We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. I think this will be a house that we will rent again in the future! I think one of the things that I like most about Resort Vacation Properties is that there is no extra charge for linens. I can't stress enough what a blessing it is not only to be able to come in and all the beds be made but also not to have to worry about packing the linens we need because of limited space in the car. This is def. a BIG plus for you. THANKS!!!!!!!

This was our second time to the Island.We had a wonderful time. The home had a very down to earth setting.Nothing fancy but it fit our needs very well. We spent alot of time in the pool or at the beach which was a short walk away.

This was my 5th vacation since 2001 on St. George Island, we have stayed in a different house each vacation. The Mirabella has a great split floor plan so it was perfect for couples and families traveling together. The pool is a perfect size and you have easy access to the beach. The house is a bit older than others I have stayed in but very clean and comfortable with a great price. Right around the corner you can rent bikes to explore the island. Go toward the beach and make a right, you will see the house with the bikes on the right. It is an easy ride on a bike into the center of the island for shopping and eating, although we prefer to grill and hang at the pool most evenings.
I would recommend this house to my friends and family. This house is pet friendly as is the island and that really is the thing that brought me to St. George Island in the first place. Bringing our pets to the beach on vacation is important to us, they deserve a vacation too.
This trip was super special to me because I got engaged that week on the beach on one of my favorite islands in the world. We would love to visit every summer and would consider renting this house again. -

The house was fine for the amount of people we were. It is a no frills house.
I noticed that the light switches in the kitchen were funky. I received a call on a sun. night from the owner who asked if she could send the electrician the next day. the electrician came-said he needed a part and left. We thought he'd be there the next day but he didn't show. I called the rental co. and they said the electrician was sent by the owner-not their person. So the first night- when the part was being fixed-I thought we could not use the oven so we had to eat out. When the electrician never showed up again- we tried to use the oven and could use it but the main light switch over the sink area did not work. So- we were inconvenienced with funky switches, we were kind of left hanging for the repairman.
Lastly- the house was advertised to have wireless internet-but it did not. For our next trip- we used Collins rentals.
