Resort Vacation Properties was a great property mgmt co. to deal with, far better than any other we used in the past and we've been there 10 times. Having the house stocked with TP, soaps, trash bags, some papertowels to begin with made the trip so much nicer. I'd recommend their service highly

Our family (4 adults and 3 children) had a wonderful time at Southern Belle. It is only a short walk to the beach and included everything we needed for a great stay. Our dogs even had a fun stay at the beach as well.
Southern Belle's widow's walk had picture perfect views of the Gulf at sunset, and its screened-in porch was our family's favorite spot to enjoy breakfast each morning. Our vacation at St. George Island was fabulous, and Southern Belle was one of the main reasons it will always be memorable. -

This was our first trip to SGI. This house was great. The house is clean and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and other cooking supplies. The view from the roof is excellent. We were amazedby how many stars we could see at night. The screend in porch was also very nice to have. Each bedroom has it own tv/dvd player in it. We would love to stay here again. The wifi worked great.

the house was just like it was advertised. it was clean when we got there, and everything worked fine. the only thing that wasnt perfect is that check out is 10am, which is early. the keyless entry worked well for larger groups, dont have to keep track of keys.
i would stay here again. -

We enjoyed staying here very much, the location was just a short walk across the street to the beach. Be prepared, the sand is very hot! We loved being able to have our dogs enjoy the beach with us. Making reservations and check in we're very simple. Would recommend this home to everyone.

Southern Belle was exactly what we needed to rest and have a great Thanksgiving Holiday. We had extended family at St. George for the holiday and the house was perfect! The weather was in the 80's the first of the week which was very nice! Great!

Enjoyed a week at SGI, celebrating our oldest son's college graduation. The weather was perfect! We enjoyed biking, fishing, shelling, kayaking in the Gulf and the bay. Southern Belle was perfect for our family, and for the price, I'm sure we would've had a hard time finding nicer accommodations. Definitely on our "stay here again" list

We rented this home for a quiet Thanksgiving weekend with our small family. The layout of this home was very nice and the view of the ocean was amazing and just a short walk to the beach. We made the best of our stay and had quite a nice time. Here were the problems we noticed:
The kitchen appliances need to be replaced.
The refrigerator door would not close completely. The stovetop/oven was old and difficult to cook with consistently. The microwave was very tiny and sat on the countertop wasting much needed counterspace.
The bedroom with the bunk beds needs to be replaced. It is extremely uncomfortable and does not allow for a good nights rest.
This home did not offer wifi. This left us unable to use our laptop.
Would have enjoyed a larger television (preferrably flatscreen) in the main living area.

We are pleased to inform you that this home has been recently refurbished including fresh paint, a new refrigerator, a new stove and a new washer & dryer. New bedding has also been installed in all of the bedrooms. Additionally, the owner has recently added wireless internet. The Southern Belle is a charming house with a great
view of the gulf and the bay from the widow's walk.
It is only a short walk to the beautiful white sandy
beach. It was the perfect house for our family to
spend a week on St. George Island! -

I definitely recommend renting this home and would rent it again. It is a very short walk to the beach and has a good view. The widow's walk provides a great view and is good for star gazing. The layout of the house is good and the landscapping very nice. One issue we had was that it was hard to keep cool in the late afternoon due to no blinds on the top windows by the door and the front door itself. Also, the kitchen was not as nicely stocked as other homes we've rented and there was not a lot of room for storage of food.
It is a very nicely furnished home and the screen porch is also very nice and nicely furnished.
It is private enough and yet also convenient to the center of the island and grocery shopping. -

We really enjoyed the house. It has a great location--near the bike path and the beach. The floorplan is very open and spacious.
We really enjoyed the widow's walk for star gazing. The house is great for pets with all tile floors. -

We stayed for just one week. This was one of the best vacations we have had, including our cruise to Alaska. The house was beautiful. The rental staff could not have been more help or nicer. They were really great. We enjoyed the house as much as the beach, if not more.
This was our first trip to St. George and certainly won't be our last. I really like how the dogs are welcome. Sophie, our 3 lb. yorkie had a ball. I would recommend this to anyone. But, you may want to have more time than a week because it goes fast and you will really hate to leave. This trip will be in our minds for a really long time. So, go and enjoy it.
