as a first time vacation renter at St. George Island our family found the Resort personnel very willing to accomodate our every question,request and need.
We enjoyed our rental and the location to amenities.

The decor was fun, location great. It was roomy and the pool area was awesome! Splish Splash had everything we needed to make our stay perfect-well equipped kitchen that we put to much use! We had a small problem with the garbage disposal and a repairman was there within minutes to fix it. The cockroaches in the kitchen were one amenity we could've done without!

All of our properties are on a monthly pest control service but from time to time due to weather conditions and other factors, an additional treatment may be needed. We only wish you would’ve let us know you were experiencing an issue so we may have had the opportunity to send someone out to spray. Thought the house was great. We had our adult childern abd their friends 6 of us and one happy older dog.The dog didn't like the inside stairs but he coul stay downsatirs when we came in from the beach. Need knives and a few more sauce pans and another skillet.

Splish Splash is a great rental house. If you could only pick up the property and move it to the beach, it would be absolutely perfect. As it was, across from the road from the beach, with a pool, you've got the best of both worlds. We loved sitting on the front deck in the mornings and walking Sadie, our dog, on the beach. Went we left, we felt good knowing that she was safe and locked in on the front deck.
We've rented at SGI many times but this is the first house with a pool. It is the only way to go. It's private, with lounge chairs and umbrella table and chairs. We brought floats so relaxing was simple.There is even an outside shower and grill.
The house was up to date and roomy, with a bedroom and bath on the main floor and three bedrooms and 2 baths on the lower floor. The lower floor has a sliding door and is level with the parking area. However there are steps from the outside to the main living area and steps from the lower level to the main floor. I liked the fact that the washer and dryer were very conveniently located on the main floor. It would be perfect house for a family or several couples.
Since we arrived after the rental office was closed I was a bit apprehensive about check in but it was simple. Our keys were in a lockbox with directions to the house. They were also very responsive and pleasant.
If you have never been to SGI, you may want to try this house, especially in the summer or fall when the weather is warm. Its location makes it easy to walk or bike to the commercial areas.
We will definitely be back and probably to Splish Splash.
