As the title suggests, we visited Sunset Strip during a rainy week at SGI. We had about 2.5 good days and then a flood! Regardless, the home was a nice haven with lots of windows to view God's creation. Sunset Strip was very clean and a good size for the 4 of us and our 2 little doggies. The master bed was very comfortable. However, the bunks were shaky and the mattresses were not very comfortable for my older teenage boys.
The view was worth it all! Loved the dock with the swing.

This location offers an incredible view and access to the bay. It was wonderful to wake up to the water every morning and the openness of the glass panel doors allowed for panoramic views of the bay. Just gorgeous!
This place is a little older and could use some more updating (the a/C barely worked, the master-suite bed mattress had a lot to be desired and the expansive deck on the back has a few weak spots) but all-in-all it does have a lot to offer. For example, the new lighted boat dock was always a good time for fishing, sunsets and dolphin watching.
If you are looking for a great location (very near to the local hangout spots, the bridge to and from St. George and the beach) but will be okay without the newest electronics, appliances and luxe amenities, this bright, tastefully decorated and clean cottage will do the trick. -

the house was perfect for our needs. the boat lift did not work out, but one of the neighbors let us use there slip and all worked out fine. the staff was very responsive to our needs.

The house is old and needs repair and it needs a good overhaul, seemed neglected. The house needed batteries in remote controls, and light bulbs in the fixtures, the stove was old. It needs a good facelift. The deck had holes in it that were large and unsafe in some areas. I was disappointed in the overall condition of the rental. The fishing dock with swing was nice and the sunset from the den/back area over looking the bay was beautiful, and we even saw a dolphin once in the bay. No pool, but it does have a washer/dryer downstairs.

The views from this house are absolutely the best of the bay and the sunsets are gorgeous! Loved the house and my husband loved the dock. We brought our boat and it was nice to have it right there at the house. He and our son had a great time fishing. Check-in and check-out was very easy. We will try and get this house again.

Very satisfied but a little pricy. Our main reason for not continuing to rent was weather. Too windy and too cold in late March early April on St George Isl.
We continue to visit Florida each year but have gone farther south. We have also found east coast pricing to be more reasonable. -

My husband & I really enjoyed our week stay in May 2008. The house was well equipped with everything needed for a great vacation. Beautiful sunsets over the bay. Awesome covered dock with lifts. Fish cleaning sink at the dock. It was a win/win for us, we got the great views, were able to take our boat and the price was right! We plan to return year after year.

I spent a great weekend in the Sunset Strip beach house. This was the first time I stayed at a beach house instead of a hotel, and it was wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you have kids, they would love it.
I'm really looking forward to spending time at Sunset Strip this year.
