Everything needed to make your vacation memorable can be found here. This home offers a great Gulf view from the covered & screened porches & easy beach access. The updated interior offers bright & cheery colors in the living/dining/kitchen area. Multiple TVs/DVD/VCRs. The master suite & bath is wheel chair accessible with a roll-in shower. One small dog under 25 lbs. is welcome. (No cats, please). Bed Sizes: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins, 1 queen sleeper sofa Outdoors: Under-house Concrete Parking; Pool: 10x28 (Heated for a fee); Enclosed Hot/Cold Outdoor Shower; Park-style Grill

Although the location was good, the bedding and furniture all need updating. The living room furniture even looks dirty. The outside plastic table is awful. The silverware chintzy. We were disappointed not to have any place in the master bath to put toiletries.

St. George Island is a beautiful idyllic environment. The staff at Resort Vacation Properties made sure that we were able to enjoy our vacation. They were knowledgeable and helpful and were a big part of making our vacation worry free.

This house enabled us to relax and recharge, we had a great time. It has all the comforts of home, lovely pool and short walk to the beach.

We enjoyed the Painted Bird because of many features, such as the kidney shaped pool with the sitting area and jets. Love the bedrooms and the open living area. We enjoyed the grill and the location on the island. St. George is the perfect get away - quite, beautiful, and has everything you need on the island - shopping and food wise.
I miss it when I don't get to go every year. Will be there this year! -

We love St. George Island!! Great for bringing our dog Macie! We were
trying to get there on short notice and a limited budget...the agent at
Resort Vacation properties was very helpful in helping us find a
property. We really need something that is ground level because our
Macie is aging....our favorite place is Sandpiper Cottage which is where
we first stayed...seems it is really popular!! I will be celebrating my
40th birthday in April and hope to spend it there....no where else I
would rather be! -

We had a slight problem on arrival. The code sent to us for entry to the house did not work. A short phone call took care of the problem.
The house was very nice and the pool was wonderful. We had a great time while it lasted. Our stay was cut short by loss of power due to a storm.
I did wish the house had a better view of the Gulf. The picture on the web sight was a little misleading on the view, but on the island you are never far from the water. -

This house was like home to us for a week. Had everything we needed and more. It was in a perfect location, only a short walk to beach and not to far from the fishing. We would recommended this house to any famly, of 8 or less, that enjoys going to beach but also likes the privacy of having a privated pool. We will stay here again in near future.

We enjoyed our stay on the island in the Painted Bird. We had some issues with the pool and the whirlpool for about two days so it limited our use during that time. The view was very nice you could see the Gulf without much obstruction at all. We would stay there again as a choice, but maybe not as a first choice due the to slower response to the pool issues. We have stayed in several locations in the past five years on vacation in St. George, so it was not our first visit. We spent extra this visit to have a private pool but as I stated above that became limited the first couple days.
Overall we did enjoy the home, and if it had not been for the challenge of getting the pool up and running the first two days there, I would have had a higher recommendation. Just have problems for paying for stuff you don't get to use; should have been resolved before we arrived.
