Mahogany Run Condominium was built in 1995 and was refurbished in 2005. The lovely grouped condominiums are located in Grenada, better known as the “Isle of Spice†on the superb and secluded beach of Morne Rouge Bay. The island’s main beach, Grand Anse Beach, is within 5 minutes walking distance and has recently been voted the 4th best beach in the world. The island has a very low crime rate and is ideal for long or short vacations when wanting to get away from the rest of the world and experience something different. Morne Rouge Beach has white sand, calm and clear crystal water which makes the beach ideal for swimming, snorkeling, sun bathing. Though the Morne Rouge Bay is secluded, its location is perfect since, all Shopping Malls, Supermarkets, Banks, Police Station, Pharmacies, Restaurants amongst other things are within walking distance. Many activities like sport fishing, hiking, island tours, hashing, diving, whale watching, Museums are available on the island.

This apt was exactly what I was looking for during my stay in Grenada. I needed a place close to the beach, near a grocery store, with a view and a kitchen, and in a location where I would feel safe.
From this location, there are two beach options - one smaller and quiet and one larger and more populated. The grocery store was within walking distance, as were several eat-out options.
My favorite part of every day was watching the sunset over the water from the balcony. The way this apt is situated, the balcony provides a nice view over the water and a few chairs for sitting.
To keep my stay economical, I used the kitchen to make some meals and freeze a water bottle overnight for the beach the next day. All the amenities worked well and there were ample pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and glasses for cooking and eating.
The was always someone on security from 6pm to 6am. The area is not rowdy or dangerous, though it was nice to know that someone was keeping an eye out for the properties in this area.

This apartment is ideally suited for Grand anse and BBC beaches. Located just up the hill from The Flamboyant Hotel it is just a short distance from the supermarket, shops, La Boulangerie etc.
The apartment is ideal for a couple. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave etc. There is also a washing machine. There is air con in the bedroom and a ceiling fan in the lounge/kitche and with windows and balcony doors open there is a good through breeze. Ideally there would be air con in the lounge as this roon can get warm. There are plenty of power sockets.
We found this a great alternative to staying in a hotel - its just necessary to remember that shampoo, washing up liquid etc are not provided.
Earnest, the Manager was very helpful and there is a maid service twice a week with change of linen and towels etc
Payment is only acceprted by bank transfer - Paypal would be better.
The booking includes a taxi pick up from the airport which is great. -

This is a nice apartment with a beautiful view of Morne Rouge beach. However, the "short walk" is actually at least a 20-minute walk to the main road where there's a grocery store or you can catch a bus to get around the area. There are also 130 steps down to the beach. They are reasonably spaced, so it's not too bad a walk. The only really misleading statement is that it has a TV set. True enough, but there's no cable or any kind of reception. It's really just a big DVD player, and many of the DVD boxes were empty.
Not the apartment owner's fault, but there are several dogs that bark all night long. Hard to sleep even with doors and windows closed and the aC running.
Also fair warning: They supply only one roll of TP and no dish or bath soap, so be sure to buy that when you go to the store. While you're there, stock up on mosquito spray. The little suckers are voracious all over the island.
Al in all, it was a nice apartment, but the apartment we had on Grand anse was less expensive but at least as nice, with a walk across the lawn to the beach and just a few steps to the main road where you can access buses. On the other hand, we liked Morne Rouge Beach much more than Grand anse. -

Close to Grande anse and Morne Rouge Beaches. Both are lovely. The bus service is great once you learn about it. There is a grocery store within walking distance and lots of vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables. It is good to have a pair of walking shoes besides sandals. The locals are friendly but tell them you have been there a week even if you just arrived. We did more than just sit on the beach and there is plenty to see in Grenada. You should be fit to stay here as everything is up and down but that is Grenada. We loved the climate, the people and the island.

We stayed at the condo from the 8th to the 26th august 2010, we really loved it the condo was beautiful the balcony was a great place to sit and have dinner in the evening there is a beautiful view of the sunset. Also Mr. Clarke was very help full he assisted in getting a vehicle to rent for our stay and anything we need. The Island is beautiful we were able to take a tour and would love to come back some other time and the Mahogany Run Condo #1 would be our first option for accommodation.

We were stay at the condom n 1 and evrething was ok: the kitchen, the bathroom and the mattress was new! And for me this is very important!!! The location is wonderfull. I suggest Mahogany for all the people that want to visit this fantastic island!
