Saint-Gervais-les-Bains is a 19th Century spa town located halfway between Megève and Chamonix. Known as the cradle of ski tourism in France, it makes an attractive, ideal base for exploring the resorts of the Mont Blanc region. The resort has two centres, Saint-Gervais village (altitude 850m) and Le Bettex/Mont d?Arbois ski resort (altitude 1400m) linked by a fast 20-person gondola which is si...tuated 900m from the residence. There is a large free car park by the gondola lift station. From here you have access to the vast Evasion Mont Blanc ski area which takes in the charming and chic resort of Megève and extends over 420km.

The centre of the village is around 1.3km away, across the Pont du Diable and at the other end of the village, the Mont Blanc Tramway, goes up to nearby Les Houches. Argentière and Chamonix, not to mention the formidable Vallée Blanche descent are all within easy reach by road. In short you have a great choice of resorts in an area of outstanding beauty.

Les Fermes de St Gervais is a new residence, in a quiet location 1.2 km from the centre of St Gervais towards Les Contamines. The Bettex Mont d?Arbois cable car is 1.9km away and a free shuttle bus runs past the residence 3 times a day (morning, early afternoon and evening). We do, however, recommend that you have a car when staying here.

The residence is made up of 41 stylish, modern apartments in three 4-storey chalets and has an indoor heated swimming pool and steam room. Beside the swimming pool is a lounge area with an open fire. Wi-fi access is available at reception (payable) and other facilities include ski lockers and a left luggage room, which can be useful for early arrivals or late departures. There is a bread delivery for orders made the previous evening. The residence has an underground car park which costs xx per week and we recommend that you reserve a place at the time of booking.

The 1 bedroom apartment for 4 people measures approximately 30m².

There is a single sofa bed and a pull-out, single drawer bed in the living area and a TV.

The kitchenette adjoining the living area is equipped with a 4-ring ceramic hob, a microwave grill, a fridge and a dishwasher as well as an electric coffee maker.

There is one bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom.

In some apartments the toilet is separate.

Apartments have either a balcony or a terrace.
