Located in St. Jean, St Barts, AUM - Duette is spacious and very comfortable. On the right there is the large and open living area, with teak furniture and African art. The living room overlooks the pool and St. Jean Bay. Next to the living room is the open dining area with a large teak table and just beyond is the open kitchen. The master bedroom is to the left, looking towards the pool, with large bay windows on both sides and views of St Jean Bay, with a very large modern en-suite bathroom. The pool is surrounded by a large teak deck, which give a spacious area for relaxing and enjoying the views. Conveniently located with easy access to t...he St.Jean shopping, restaurants and the beach. Ideal for those who want a villa, yet desire the amenities of St. Jean.

There is a lower level second bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a private terrace with views of St. Jean available for an additional charge.

  The villa was just what we needed. Great view. Service was excellent from meeting us at the port to coming to fix the light in the bathroom. The cleaner was very good and cheerful. Two small details to be fixed. The pool light does not work and the path way lights worked only some of the time.   Paradise with Privacy

  My wife and I took a week away from work and kid to just…relax. And that's exactly what we got at aUM - Duette: Sun, pool, and peace and quiet. The villa is immaculate and exactly as pictured. We enjoyed every second there - from cooking our own dinners in the open air kitchen, to dining out when we felt adventurous. We even rented Dvds ($4 us) in St. Jean to enjoy in the living room.
  
  Some helpful points:
  • The bedroom and bath is air conditioned and you can see the ocean and pool from bed
  
  • The living room is not air conditioned, but screened off. We never once felt the need for aC, as the ocean breeze is plenty. The screens controlled any insects.
  
  • The kitchen and dining were not screened off, so we did light Citronella candles to control mosquitoes. I'm not complaining, though.
  
  • The pool overlooks Eden Rock, St. Jean beach, and in the distance, the airport.
  
  • The beach is a 5 minute walk through St. Jean. Easy. We felt the need maybe once a day, but really, why leave the pool? The rest of the beaches (within driving distance) are all wonderful, and a lot of people have their irrefutable favorite, but we found that's like picking your favorite child - impossible, they're all paradise.
  
  • The location is central to the island. Everything is within easy driving distance - the whole circuit of the island takes maybe 45 minutes, so being in the middle is 20 minutes from anywhere. We recommend renting a car so you can fulfill your every whim.
