Our 5th family trip to St John and Coral Cove was our best villa yet, in many ways. We prefer the east side of the island and this villa makes getting to Coral Bay a breeze. Being right down on the water, with the sound of the waves and the sea breezes, was really a nice addition to a first class villa. Easy access (some driveways on St John are very treacherous), all necessary amenities, comfortable and private bedrooms, and beautiful views. We often need more than a 4-bedroom villa but whenever we only need four - this will definitely be the place.

This vacation rental is one-of-a-kind and an amazing place to stay. Coral Cove is situated on a private estate overlooking John's Folly and the clear, blue oceans of St. John's east side. The landscaping is well designed with beautiful flowers, palms, and shrubs that accent the island's lush environment. The home comes with many amenities such as beach chairs, floats, coolers, snorkel gear, etc. The four private, well appointed bedrooms are expertly decorated, and the open-air vibe will put you at peace with the rhythm of the island. We enjoyed the strolling hermit crabs and watching the lizards run around the grounds. The snorkeling off the point has some of the best coral on the island. Turtles played in the bay all day. Don't be alarmed by the massive 4+ foot barracuda that hangs out near the buoys. He was rather friendly and never caused any trouble. We also saw string ray and hoards of queen conch in the sea grasses. The beach is very rocky and covered in large shards of bleached coral. Keep your shoes on (sea urchins!). This home is a beautifully serene place to wash away the cares of the life you left behind. One can feel the love and care the owners put into the planning and design of every detail. We would absolutely stay here again. It was hard to leave to go enjoy other parts of the island because it was so beautiful. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We have spent a week at Coral Cove for two years in a row, and we love this home and almost as much as we love this island. We all like the 'quiet side' of the island at Coral Bay. The location feels so secluded. It's perfect for a group of traveling couples, and I know I can speak for all eight of my party when I say that we all truly did feel "Catered To†throughout our stay on St. John! We absolutely loved Coral Cove-hands-down my favorite beach house we have ever rented! The sunrise view of the Bvi's from the deck is gorgeous. The reef off of the point there is stunning for snorkeling. And the layout and all of the details of the house are just perfect. We would all stay at Coral Cove again in a heartbeat!

Let me start by saying that this was our second year staying at this villa, and we will be back again!!
The Catered To staff were all the most wonderful and gracious hosts we could have asked to have had. I know I can speak for all eight of my party when I say that we all truly did feel “Catered To†throughout our stay on St. John. We absolutely loved Coral Cove—hands-down my favorite beach house we have ever rented! The reef off of the point there is stunning, and the layout and all of the details of the house are perfect. And Coral Bay is a hidden gem of a town. -

The villa is as advertised, very nice accomodations for 8 people. A few problems with the a/C but they were addressed quickly by Catered To. This side of the island was too quiet for us with only 3 or 4 "bar food" restaurants available. The trip to Cruz Bay was 30 minutes for more selection.

The views and location of Coral Cove cannot be matched. The only draw back this trip was the faulty air conditioning in two of the bedrooms. However Catered To was always responsive and quick to send someone out to check the situation. Overall our trip was great.

My review will focus on the Villa.This is our second stay at Coral Cove Villa, It is a very nice villa but is showing signs of wear and tear from being in the rental market. First the aC in the first master suite does not cool that room this is the second year and the aC has not been repaired or replaced. This year we had problems with the dishwasher, after a call for repairs a repair man called to tell us where the electrical breaker box was located so we could flip the breaker and cut the beast off (flashing lights and a grinding noise coming from unit). Was told unit was to be replaced but since it was an unusuall size that they were having trouble finding one to fit. (I didn't know they made dish washers in different sizes) Next the refrigrator started acting up and not cooling also ice maker has never worked. We had to empty frig and ice down everything in a cooler. Thank God there was a small frig in the great room. Maybe the owners need to be alerted to some of the problems in this Villa.

Thank you for your review of Coral Cove. We would like to apologize for the difficulties you had with the appliances.
We appreciate that you reported the fridge and dishwasher did not seem to be working properly and we are glad to have had the opportunity to address the problem quickly. Although the appliance repair man reported the fridge and ice machine were working properly, we are sorry that the ice maker was not producing ice fast enough for your group. Please note that in very humid climates such as St. John it is not uncommon for fridges to take as long as 24 hours to cool when a large number items are placed in the fridge at the same time, particularly when the fridge is opened frequently during that time.
Although the issue that you experienced with the air conditioning were not reported to our office during your stay, the unit had been serviced 7 days prior to your arrival and was reported to be working correctly. We will be certain to have it inspected again.
Again we are sorry about the challenges that you experienced. We make every effort to address each and every issue that we are presented with in the villas that we manage and we do so with the owners involvement. Unfortunately, the nature of living on St. John often presents all of us that live here with unique challenges, and we appreciate your understanding that we always make every effort to make sure that our guests and comfortable while enjoying their villa experience.
We do hope that you will consider renting Coral Cove again. -

Perfect...everything was perfect!! I love this villa! Native stone walls, beams, fabulous kitchen, open air living room, 4 very private suites...I could go on and on. All the suites are the same size, with enormous baths and closets and great views - so everyone was happy. It is all nestled so beautifully on the point, with water on 2 sides and lush landscape. Very, very private. The architect created something very special...he and the owners have really thought of everything. My son-in-law, 2 daughters and boyfriend (in their 20's and 30's) were equally thrilled with Coral Cove. There was always a breeze, which made a huge difference in June. We snorkeled in the cove - watch out for sea urchins and I suggest bringing some water shoes. There are great eats a stone's throw away...Sweet Plaintains for a special evening...Skinny Legs for burgers and horseshoes...Miss Lucy's for brunch...Donkey Dinner, Shipwreaked Landings and Blue Island Lagoon are all really good. Thank you Catered to Vacations, you could not have been easier to work with or more helpful. Definitely a five star experience - perfect!

We absolutely loved Coral Cove. The house was AMAZING and we found ourselves for the first time vacationing in St. John actually wanting to hang at the house for a day or two because it was just so beautiful and the snorkeling was great just down the path. We really enjoyed the "other side of the island". We had a wonderful time and would definitely return to this house again and use Catered To who were most helpful in answering all of our questions and making sure we had all that we needed and had a wonderful time!!

Coral Cove is picture perfect in every way: stunning architecture, location, amenities. Not a single thing was missing. The house was perfect for everyone from my little nieces who pitter pattered around the continuous cement floors with wet feet hopping in and out of the pool all day—to my 65 year old aunt who sat on the deck enjoying the views and sea breeze, or took walks along the beach. The gourmet kitchen allowed my chef brother to create fabulous dinners. The 4 separate living quarters gave us all a sense of privacy and our own space to hang out, so we never felt even the least bit crowded. We will definitely return to Coral Cove in the future.

After staying at Coral Cove last year we have definitely converted to that side of the island! the house was incredible and extremely comfortable. One definite plus was the excerise room. It was great to be able to get up and run on the treadmill every morning to justify the pina coladas that were consumed every evening! As always, Catered To was attentive and helpful. As a matter of fact we are returning to Coral Cove in a few weeks and absolutely cannot wait!
