we had a great time in our little home in St. John. Our greeter was wonderful and helpful. We found the house clean. We loved the Pool the best. We also loved the outdoor spaces. Our bedroom was wonderful. The location was a little hard to drive to but we got used to it.

We loved the house and the views. Starting with Kaye, our greeter to angie and Mike the housekeepers, everything was great. The house is clean and we liked its openness. We're definitely planning to come back next year.

My family and I loved Hummingbird Hill. It was a beautiful home with terrific views. It was paradise everyday we woke up. It was really nice that we got T-shirts also, kids loved that.We had a problem with TV but Catered To was there within hours to replace it, any problem, which were few, were handled immediately with super nice people. It was a terrific experience.

My wife and I try to travel to St. John every two years. Our stay this time at Humming Bird Hill truly rates as one of the best. Very nice villa, outstanding view and great location. We usually travel with other couples but this time just us. Pool was extremely nice and used a lot. Would not hesitate returning to Humming Bird Villa in the future. The people at Catered-To were very helpful and went out of their way to Cater to us. Thanks for a wonderful trip. P.S. Read the reviews in the guest book while there, more good reviews from couples and families.

we stayed 6 nights in this lovely, art filled villa. Our stay was extremely relaxing and rejuvenating. Our nightly dinners as the sunset behind St Thomas were special indeed. the location was private, but close to Cruz Bay. Overall, this was a very satisfying vacation.

Our group of five women stayed at Hummingbird Hill villa June 9-16, 2011 and had a very positive experience. This same group had stayed in a more expensive rental on St. John previously so we were a little concerned that a less expensive house would not be as nice. We were wrong! Hummingbird Hill turned out to surpass our expectations. The house was well-equipped and we greatly appreciated the air conditioned bedrooms, covered verandas, and the high-speed wireless Internet so we could post pictures on Facebook so everyone at home could enjoy it with us!
The location of the house made it very accessible to Cruz Bay as well as an easy drive to the majority of the St. John beaches. This trip turned out to be a very relaxing trip for all of us. We did prepare the majority of our meals at the house and the kitchen and gas grill made it so easy. The landscaping and views were incredible.
Catered To Vacation Homes was very easy to work with before and during our stay. We also appreciated the "goodie basket" upon our arrival. We would definitely stay at Hummingbird Hill again.

My wife and I got to spend a glorious week in St John with our adult children. Hummingbird was perfect for the five of us. The house had everthing we needed and the view is spectacular. We know there may be more luxurious and newer houses to rent on the island, but Hummingbird has the charm and warmth that made us feel relaxed. There was privacy when we needed to be apart from one another and adequate spaces for us to be all together when we wanted to be.
If we go back to St John we would seriously think about staying at Hummingbird again (although out family is expanding) . This place was just as advertised and Catered to Rentals was helpful and mae sure all our needs were tended to.

Catered to was great. The home had everything you needed especially the kitchen. The artwork, flowers, fruit trees were lovely. Location was great and the view was fantastic. The best things we liked were the pool and barbecue and the iguana's which kept us entertained. It is a very comfortable home and would definitely return. We especially like the katilady catering for our arrival dinner and breakfast the next day. We cannot think of anything that we did not like. It was a perfect vacation.

This was our second time staying at Hummingbird Hill. It is a great house for a family, expecially with young children. It is conveniently located to town and the North Shore Beaches. The kids really enjoyed coming back from the beach and playing in the pool. Our only complaint is that the day room where our son slept seemed to be mosquito infested. The rest of the house was fine. We hada great time!

Hummingbird Hill was very nice, relaxing, quiet and well appointed with magnificent, ever-changing views of Pillsbury Sound and the boats all around. I am ready to go back.

The house was very private and the view was beautiful! The western view allowed us watch the sunset every evening. The pool deck and covered porches gave us plenty of options when it came to cocktail hour. The house was located within a short drive to town, making it easy to pick up supplies or go into town for dinner or shopping. Our son spent most of his waking hours in the pool... tough to get him out!

This house has a lot of character! The artwork and photos are very unique and the cement walls on the exterior of the house are quite interesting. The children and I spent a lot of time looking at the different pieces of pottery, rocks, and sculpted faces in the walls. The landscaping is quite beautiful.
This is a great vacation home for families or for a group with 2 couples. The separate bedroom (poolhouse) offers a lot of privacy and the outdoor shower is quite interesting. The pool was perfect for our 3 children (boys). After a long day exploring the island, the kids still had enough energy to swim, while mom and dad were able to lounge around the pool.
The kitchen has every appliance you could possibly need. Beach towels were supplied. There are plenty of books to read, including books about St John and the islands. The master bedroom had a cabinet with family board games. One room even included a telescope and there were 2 sets of binoculars. The children thoroughly enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife and viewing the boats on the ocean.
Booking our stay was quite pleasant. CateredTo was very helpful in helping us select a rental home and they also arranged a SUV rental for us. We're very self-sufficient travelers, so we didn't have much contact with CateredTo after our initial arrival, but we know they would have been readily available if we had needed anything.
The only downfall on our trip was the number of mosquitos! We've been to the islands before and this time was definitely the worst for the little buggers. Maybe because we were there during the "rainy season"? (There was a significant rainfall a few days before we arrived but the weather was perfect while we were there). This wasn't just an issue at the house, but everywhere we went on the island. We were covered in mosquito bites!
Overall we had an EXCELLENT vacation and we definitely plan to rent a vacation home from CateredTo in the future! -

We really were impressed with this little jewel. The house was immaculate and
very nicely decorated. The view was spectacular and the little pool was great
before the beach and after. The house had everything you need for a
wonderful vacation. Coolers and ice packs were available to back lunch for the
beach. It even had a washer and dryer! It was a very comfortable place to stay!
We would stay in this paradise again! -

We have been coming to St. John each November for well over 15 years now. This is the first Catered to home we've rented and our experience was wonderful. We stay for two weeks, so I truly appreciate the mid-stay cleaning and maintenance. My only recommendation would be to leave instructions for priming the pump at the property. There was a huge power outage that November when a tragic accident happened on St. Thomas and we did have to wait a bit longer than we would have liked to get water once the power was restored. The pump turned out to be very easy to prime, so instruction would have been helpful. The house is wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay.

It was absolutely incredible. The room in the pool house was the best with the outdoor shower. Cateredto was everything we expected and more, highly recommend them
