      Outstanding Villa

Left on 05/17/2013 for a stay in April 2013

      6 great items
      1) Great management: met us at the ferry. Attentive and available to our needs. Provided us disposable towels for the last day when we had checked out.
      2) Wonderful Villa: Large place, top-notch furnishings
      3) Indoor Pool & Outdoor Hot-tub: due to mosquitos, sun, and cleanliness this is the best possible setup (despite my initial desires for outdoor pool)
      4) Great view
      5) Private bedrooms on opposite ends of villa
      6) Location: ideal place to be, close to north shore beaches and town/restaurants

      Very nice property!

Left on 06/01/2012 for a stay in April 2012

This was our 2nd trip to St. John. We selected this home mostly for the number of bedrooms and it's unique feature, the indoor pool. We didn't know if we would like it as much as we did and in a way it really makes sense. After a long day at the beach we had enough sun so coming back to the house in the late afternoon we found the pool to be fabulous! You do not have to worry about bugs, critters, or debris in the pool either. And there is no pool smell. Nice location for getting in to town and basic food shopping. A little further to drive to some of the north shore beaches but it is not a bad trip once you get the hang of going through town. Would definitely stay again.

An incredibly relaxing way to spend a sun drenched week.

This is our 20th or so trip to St. John and our third stay at Villa adagio. We've made the trip as a couple and with our three children. Either configuration is a winner. Our many visits have included quite a few of the nicest villas on the island and Villa adagio is a convenient, exceptionally appointed home at a ressonable price. A solar or supplemental heater to raise the indoor pool temperature a few degrees would be my only recommendation. Great experience and highly recommended.

      Simply put, ah!

Left on 10/30/2011 for a stay in October 2011

Walking into the villa you instantly feel like you are home. It is a beautiful home with plenty of amenities. You are not in need of anything. They have televisions if you care to watch in every room. The Wi-Fi signal is strong and cell service was not an issue. If all that interests you then great but if you just want to get away from it all this villa allows that with beautiful views of the other islands and the sparkling blue waters beyond. Catered to/Wimco did an excellent job of meeting us at the airport and supplying a welcome package the day of arrival. This was one of the best villas I have stayed in.

      Absolutely First Class!

Left on 05/25/2011 for a stay in May 2011

Everything went without a hitch. We were picked up at the dock and our hostess stopped at the market so we could shop and then to the Villa.

The house had a beautiful view to the west over Chocolate Hole so the sunsets were spectacular. The indoor pool was really great since it rained a lot during our stay. The outdoor showers off the two master baths made it extra special. We only used the two bedrooms and baths on the main floor but the third room downstairs was as nice as the others with it's own balcony and beautiful bath with terrific shower surrounded by glass bricks.

The thing that impressed us the most was the quality and design of the furniture and all the spaces. We didn't realize until the second day that the interior stonework on the walls was actually hand-painted by an accomplished artist. All the furniture was top drawer including all the very expensive chaises on the terraces. My wife said it was the best bed she has ever slept in and we have the Select comfort system at home.Even the laundry room had two top of the line front loading washers and dryers.

We chose not to rent a car since we were there only three days b/4 our cruise on the arabella so the taxis ran about $30 each way into Cruz Bay for four people but we loved the house (home?) so much that we only went into town twice.

All in all, it is hard to believe the owners rent this out since it is obviously their home away from home. I think they love it so much that they want to share it with others. We will be back with more friends in the future and I don't care what room I get as they are all great and have their own special benefits. Also, we will have Dinner with Ted come in and cook for us next time at least one night.

Villa adagio was truly a hit for all concerned.

Left on 03/10/2011 for a stay in February 2011

The instant we walked in the front door we knew we were going to enjoy our stay at Villa adagio. We were greeted by an inviting indoor pool and wonderful view of Great Cruz Bay and St. Thomas in the distance. The house was well decorated, clean, and the refrigerator contained a variety of complimentary cold beer, soft drinks, wine, and snacks. Each of the three couples had a very private and spacious bedroom with a view of the bay, and the private outdoor showers were special. The house was well appointed and our only wish was that we had more time to spend.

      "Spectacular...simply spectacular!"

Left on 02/16/2010 for a stay in January 2010

My family had the opportunity to stay at Adagio and it has to be the most spectacular villa we have ever stayed in.
The villa is situated in a secluded area and overlooks stunning sunsets of the bay. We have never returned from a stay away from home so refreshed and revitalized. We had a wonderful time and felt right at home, it's so well decorated and immaculate.
The pool was great at keeping our son's attention while we fixed dinner in the kitchen. Both in design and quality, the kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals in! The bedroom was incredibly romantic and decorated with such wonderful furniture and the outdoor showers were a wonderful surprise!
Everything was the highest of quality and top of the line, from the hairdryers to the furniture, towels to the kitchen, appliances to the view. This villa is truly a "Luxury Retreat". We hope to be able to return to St. John and stay at Agagio again very soon.
      Thanks Paula and Skip!
      Cheers, Rick & Julie

PS - Truly, I can't say enough in the space given to convey how happy we were. We intend to come back as often as possible.

Slow down as the name suggest

Left on 06/30/2009 for a stay in June 2009

The villa has a fanstatic view of St Thomas and of Great Cruz Bay and the Westin Hotel property. The house has a fanstic floor plan that sleeps 3 couples with privacy. The kitchen is well appointed and the drive to town for provisions is short but a steep drive, remember Keep Left. Catered To was most helpful in arrangements for rental vehicle and ease of securing the property. If all there is, is just the two of you you can't go wrong on this villa! Problem is you may not see the rest of the Island.

The Fine Life at Great Cruz Bay

Left on 06/30/2009 for a stay in May 2008

My wife and adult daughter had the good fortune of staying at Villa Adagio, which was the best furnished and most comfortable villa we have rented on St. John. It is more like a home than a villa. Although it is not on the bay side of the road, it has good views of the bay, boats, and St. Thomas and is surrounded by beautiful foliage. The indoor pool, that is, the pool in the living room, is a novel, fun thing, but it doesn't help cool you down when you are sunning outside on the large deck.

All the bedrooms were finely furnished and well-presented (including "outdoor" showers connected to the bathrooms), and my daughter had the privacy of the bedroom downstairs. It was really hard to take trips to beaches or other sites because of how nice and comfortable Villa Adagio was.

We have regularly used Catered To for our trips to St. John, and we have always appreciated their services and friendliness - from making reservations to greeting us at the dock and helping us get oriented and settled. We could not have been treated better on any of our trips. I highly recommend them and Villa Adagio for an enjoyable tropical isle experience.
