This was our first trip to St. John, and we loved what must be the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. This is a laid back "nature" island and Las Brisas Caribe is the perfect spot to stay to enjoy it: a beautiful villa, with every possible amenity, lots of privacy, outside balconies and decks, beautiful decor and landscaping, pool, and located close to Cruz Bay. It lives up to its pictures! We especially enjoyed breakfast and sunset drinks from the Crows Nest with views of surrounding islands, and the iguanas entertained our 3 grandchildren for hours. Definitely on our repeat list.

Have always enjoyed the views from all over the villa. The setting is quiet and peaceful and the amenities are terrific. We have enjoyed this villa several times. Tommy from Suite St John is extremely helpful.

We stayed at the villa, Las Brisas Caribe in December, 2009 for 1 week. We
flew into St. Thomas and ferried to St. John where a representative of Suite
St. John picked us up and took us to our Villa. He was very good but
unfortunately I forgot his name. He took us to pick up our rental car and
then gave a quick tour of the village (grocery stores, gas station, etc.) then
he drove us to our Villa and gave us a tour of that. The villa itself was
exceptional. completely gated and secured, the Villa is actually 3 villas on
one property. The main villa had a beautiful living area with big screen TV,
DVD, Ipod player and bose sound system. The kitchen was not only
functional but had all the best appliances (viking stove) and all clad pans,
beautiful glass ware and cutlery. The kitchen was stocked with spices,
herbs, liquor, bakeware and just about everything you can think of. The
master bedroom sits above the kitchen and had it's own private balcony
with high quality outdoor furniture. above that was the crow's nest where
we had a cocktail hour every night. the other villas had there own private
balconies as well and all were situated with the nicest, softest linens and all
suites had their own outdoor shower. It was fantastic. There is also a lovely
pool that's big enough to do laps and completely private. This is great for
families or 3 couples.
This was the best vacation we've had and we've been to many beautiful
locations. Last year we spent a week at the Four Seasons in Wailea, Maui
and we both agreed that Las Brisas was our favorite. You do have to do
your own cooking but it was nice to be able to just hang out and relax and
not dress for dinner.
The negatives are few...First, I tried to take a bath in the beautiful master
tub but there wasn't enough hot water. The view of the ocean from the
main level is only fair. View from Bedrooms and crows nest was great
though. that's all I can think of.
We will definitely be back. It's a truly lovely place.
