Surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, Ginger Thomas Villa (named after the U.S.V.I.'s national flower) is built on two levels and features lovely ocean views of Cruz Bay's harbor and of St. Thomas beyond, and sparkling seas to the horizon.

This is a great villa. Luxury Resorts does a great job with booking the unit and helping you to plan the trip. Their service is perfect and is a big positive for the villa. The villa is a 5 minute drive from the car ferry and Cruz Bay. You can walk it but the hill leading up to the property is very steep and not an easy walk. The owner/manager met us at the ferry, showed us the way to the villa and provided great tips on where to eat, how to get around and great info on the beaches. The property was in good shape when we arrived. The kitchen is great and very modern with all of the appliances and nearly everything you need to cook and serve. The bedroom is spacious with a very comfortable bed and has a TV with DVD/cable. The bathroom is nice although nothing special and includes shower and washer/dryer as well as bath and beach towels. The patio is spectacular with a great view of Cruz Bay and the ocean, a nice Weber grill and a sitting area with sectional and TV/DVD/Cable. The pool is small but clean and very comfortable. The views of the sunset are very nice and were unexpected. The unit only has aC in the bedroom but it works well at night and the winds keep the unit pretty cool during the day. You have your own parking spot but patio is very visible from units on both left and right of the villa so while it is free standing it is not overly private. The unit is very close to town but the final stretch of road to the unit is very rough and has some broken down cars along the way. You feel very safe but the surroundings not that quaint. We had three issues with the kitchen while we were there and the owner fixed two of them same day. The third did not get resolved but was not a significant problem. We would highly recommend the property.
