From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were home. The house is beautiful. I searched for weeks to find the best house for our group, and this one did not disappoint. Catered Too was so helpful as well. I would rent here again and will use CT next time we are on STJ.
Pros... It is close to Cruz on all paved roads. It has a well-stocked kitchen, with tons of beach towels and linens. We had one issue with a power outage (island wide); the guy was there to fix it before most people were even out of bed. He was friendly and helpful, giving us suggestions on where to go on the island. The sunset views from the decks are amazing. It is perfect house for eight college friends to share for the week.
Cons...We wish the greeter would have taken us the Centerline road instead of by the Westin. It may be shorter, but we had seven first timers on St. John and it was very intimidating. There was a weird, loud and continuous drip in the lower level bedroom. Some of the beach chairs were broken and we didn't realize it until we got to the beach. (There were plenty for the next trip.) There was always a puddle of water between the pool house and the main house, several people slipped during the week.
I would recommend this home for a group.

The home was fabulous! My family hadn't been on a vacation together for ten years. Catered To was very attentive to all our questions and helped us get acclamated to the home. Vista Caribe is a beautiful house overlooking the bay. There was room for all of us to spread out and relax together. I loved eating outside on the deck overlooking the bay and gardens, the pool, and the gorgeous four-poster beds. The gourmet kitchen almost made me want to cook on vacation, well almost. The only negative, no Olympics NBC channel!

3 families spent 10 days at vista caribe in July. This was out 7th trip to St John and our first rental from Catered to. Everything was handled professionally and promptly. Our home was incredible, with great aC! Great layout too w/bedrooms private and separated. All bedding was first rate. The king room on lowest level has a patio but no view. Twin beds used by kids on middle level so that would have been better for view and for adults. The kitchen has everything you need and a spice drawer too. We provisioned the unit with Starfish Market so everything was there when we arrived. The only thing we needed was ice for the ice chests. There are 8 comfy beach chairs and plenty of towels and bedding. Just a wonderful Place and highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful week staying at Vista Caribe. The villa is very well appointed and is as beautiful as it appears in the photos. We particularly loved the view, the kitchen and the air conditioning. We also found Catered To very responsive - check in was a breeze, the kitchen had been stocked with a few goodies and we received help immediately on our only issue which was a few slow drains. My only suggestion would be that it would be nice to trim the bushes on the view side of the pool - that way you could enjoy the incredible view while in the pool. We loved our stay and will definately be back!

Our family of six enjoyed the views, the space and attention to detail at Vista Caribe. Our favorite spots were the pool area and balcony. The kitchen was beautiful, spacious, & comfortable. All 4 bedrooms & bathrooms were well appointed and beautiful. It's true the beds in the master & guesthouse (especially) were very high off the ground. We enjoyed seeing several iguanas on the property. Overall, villa Vista Caribe was an exceptional home with amazing views of Great Cruz Bay. It just felt like home!

This was our 7th trip to St John and we really enjoyed staying at Vista Caribe --had been admiring on website for several years. We had wonderful meals on the terrace and the sunsets were spectacular. The pool and cabana were terrific and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. Kitchen was well equipped. We were a bit disappointed with the televisions in general, all tube and not flat panel which was not on par with the cost of the villa. The monitor in the detached cottage was more suitable for a computer. The king bed in the cottage was very high off the floor and required a step stool and had serious squeak issues! Overall our family had a great trip and would highly recommend the Virgin Grande Estates as a great location.

We stayed at Vista Caribe the week of 04/28/12 to 05/05/12. The house was fantastic. The sunset views and the lights of St Thomas were great. We always had a nice breeze which kept the bugs away and made it very comfortable. The house overlooks Great Cruz Bay and the Westin. We visited the Westin and it was hot with no breeze. The House had all the amentities and even provided various supplies and essentials. A nice welcome kit made you feel very welcome. This house has it all (Views, AC, Fans, Grill, each bedroom is on a different floor and so much more). We will be come back to Vista Caribe.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Vista Caribe! We stay a villa in St John every February, and this was our favorite to date! The villa has a great layout for our family of 5, including 3 small children. The hill-top location afforded beautiful views and calm breezes. Can't wait to go back!

we stayed at vista caribe for a month and it was great. we have been coming to the island for 25+ years and think of it as our home. We have booked the same villa for next summer. Cateredto has been great to work with as they have always been.

Vista Caribe was a wonderful villa. The views from your deck and pool is worth the trip.This is spacious villa that you can completely open up for the nice breezes or close up for complete aC.Its location int he uppermost elevations of Virgin Grand Estates is one of the best on the island.It is convenient to Cruise Bay and Downtown shops /Resturants but still very private.The Catered To Vacation Property Management team was outstanding. I called one evening after hours about gas for the stove which didnt come on.They answered the call immediately and came out and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes! I plan to use Catered To to rent a villa next spring again,this will be the third year in a row I have rented with them and couldnt be more pleased.
