Connie's Comfort Suites is located in the Capital City of St. John's , in a community called Fort Road. Our location offers a great cultural experience giving guest an opportunity to experience a true taste of Antigua. When staying at Connie's you can walk into the city, and you will have access to many of the local sites.
We are about a 7 min walk from a KFC and within walking distance to the Woods Shopping Centre and Village Walk Shopping Centre where you have access to a Food Court, Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Banks ( ATMs), Clothing stores etc.
In addition to this we are located within a 8 - 15 min drive from 3 beautiful beaches - Fort James, Runaway Bay and Dickenson Bay.
If you are interested in experiencing the island by bus we are about a 8 min walk away from bus routes that will take you to the 2 main Bus Terminals( East Bus Station) and ( West Bus Stations) in Antigua where you can catch other buses to various locations on the island.

I had the opportunity to lodge at Connies Comfort Suites Inn for a duration of 1 month. My stay was pleasant, the room look as in advert pictures, the property is kept clean. The rooms, all have a small patio for cooling-off with a cold beverage, services is on demand, the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is close to town, travelling to and from is durable with a good walking shoe, beaches is walking distance with sensible footwear, food and shopping, again walking distance.
All and all, my stay at Ccsi was very productive and peaceful for what I needed. I would recommend Ccsi for both short an long term stay as the apartments are comfortable and feel like home away from home.Response from Connie's Comfort Suites - 04/23/2013

We spent a wonderful mounth in antigua.Connie's confort suites is the right place where you can get in touch with the real Caribben lifestyle.The apartments are simple but confortable and you will have everythink you need.Located nearby supermarket restaurant and of couse nice beaches! Shirmique and her mother Connie always make the best to make your stay in antigua memorable.

We always like a nice comfortable place with a relaxed atmosphere when we travel. We enjoy having a clean, nicely furnished suite where we can cook and come and go as we please. Proximity to shopping, beaches, and the business centre are also a must.
Connie's Comfort Suites has all of the above.
The hosts are very friendly, accessible and personable.
The location is perfect for walking about, but renting a car is a bonus when it comes to seeing the island.
We enjoyed our stay, would definitely return, and recommend it to any & everyone who isn't the "all inclusive" type.

I enjoyed my stay at Connie's and you cannot beat the value that you get for the price here. Many of the other places I looked at were much more expensive. Shirmique and Connie (her Mother) could not have been nicer and went out of their way to make sure my stay was a pleasant one.
Connie's is located in a residential area, so if you are looking for an authentic island experience, this is the place for you. The rooms are large and tidy and would be perfect for a family or small group of friends to stay there. This is not a criticism, but if you are looking for luxury accomodations or a traditional hotel in the heart of downtown, then you should look elsewhere. The reason I say that is there's no central air conditioning (but the wall units work fine), there are no porters to take your bag up the stairs if your room is on the 2nd floor and it's about an 8-10 minute car ride down to the port. Both Shirmique and Connie have other businesses and so may not be there when you check in. But they will check on you after you arrive to ensure you've settled in okay.
To sum up, if you're a "go with the flow" type of person and want a slice of real island life, I absolutely recommend Connie's Comfort Suites. And if you're looking for a great local place that serves delicious, fresh, innovative dishes, you must go to the restaurant Papa Zouks. I'm a fussy and hard to please customer. Cleanliness is very important and so is value for money. I searched very hard for value in antigua - I'm one of those that research accommodation options to the extreme, so I can save you some time! If you're looking for a clean comfortable place to stay and excellent value for money, you need to stay here!
Room was a good standard, the kitchen & lounge area was clean with a good sized fridge. Mosquitoes normally go for me big time, but I didn't have to worry as the screens in the windows took care of that (this was important because apparently the dengue mosquito exists in antigua).
There are 3 shops very close by that I used for food supplies (1 opposite, 1 next door and another about 5 min walk away) and you can take a 2 min walk up the road to KFC if that's your thing.
Bathroom was a good standard with a very large shower. Beds were absolutely fine. No complaints at all. Connie was a wonderful host (and responded promptly to my email queries before I arrived). I was sad to leave the place.
I suppose there are those who go to antigua and want to splash the cash and live it large. But if you're on a budget and looking for excellent value for money, I find it hard to imagine that you can do better than Connie's.Response from Connie's Comfort Suites - 03/02/2013

The service at Connie's Comfort Suites was great! I arrived late at night and they had someone wait for me to arrive in order to check me in and to make sure that I was settled in for the night. Also the location was very convenient at just minutes away from the airport. The apartment had all the amenities and it was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint was how short my stay was (overnight). I will definitely go back to Connie's!

The owner was so kind to us, we had to come back Italy before for serious problems and Shirmique was available to understand.
Everything was right, I would only change the pillows and the air conditioning was a little noisy.
The place was clean.

My sister,girlfriend and I stayed at Connie's the week of carnival august 3rd-10th 2012!Check in was easy,the apt was tidy.The apt comes with an oven,stove,refrig,dishes,pots and etc.The bathroom has a stand up shower which we loved and the apt was big enough for the three of us.The location was close to everything and the staff was pleasant.The price was great.We had a blast during carnival...and we enjoyed the beaches.They were very nice.We hope to visit soon again.Connie and Shirmique were great. I would highly recommend Connie's Comfort apt.
