Villa Kathleen majestically dominates the hill of Galley Bay Heights on the west coast of Antigua and it occupies 13,000 sq. ft of living/entertaining space. This luxury villa enjoys 360 degrees views of the Caribbean Sea. A flamboyant tropical Caribbean garden flourishing with Bougainvillea, Palm Trees and other indigenous flowers and plants surrounds the property. On the path to the main building you will see on the left a Wimbledon style tennis court, equipped with tennis rackets and balls.

The Villa with its huge glass sliding door, vaulted ceilings, bay windows and an open floor plan gives a feeling of openness and brighten the ho...me with natural sunlight, if you take just a minute to turn around you would be amazed at the most stunning views of the horizon and the bay below. The main entrance to the villa opens up to the living room that is tastefully furnished with the most comfortable sofa set, a square coffee table, accent furniture and abstract art paintings on the walls, all these come together to accentuate the area. Here is also the formal dining area.

A family/entertainment room is comfortably furnished with a Plasma HDTV and surrounds sound entertainment system. The villa has a play-station that allows three players with a vast choice of games. There are also a lot of books, DVDs and table games for more entertainment. Next to the living room is the lounge room where you will find another set of comfortable sofas, a chest of draws containing table games for the children, and a complete library.

The kitchen sits on over 600 sq. ft. and is fully furnished with stainless steel professional grade appliances such as 6 burners stove, fridge and refrigerator, washing machine, professional oven, microwave and smaller appliances, the cabinets were custom built and topped with marble stone and a wine rack is built in near the refrigerator.

The villa has 7 beautiful bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 14 guests. All the bedrooms have an Ipod docking station and ceiling fans.

The Master Bedroom is fitted with lovely furniture which includes king size bed, bed size tables, chest of draws, spacious walk-in closet competed with minibar. The room has a relaxing area which includes a Plasma television, coffee table and a couch.

The Master Bathroom has an L-Shaped vanity with double sink and a make-up area with seating, and the walk-in shower is absolutely fabulous with stunning views of the sea. The sliding door of the Master Bedroom opens up to the external private patio decorated with outdoor furniture including sofa, chairs and coffee tables.

Next to the Master Bedroom there are two double beds bedrooms with wardrobes, one with king size bed and the other with two single beds, ideal for the children. Both bedrooms share a veranda furnished with lovely outdoor furniture and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and bath tub. On the eastern side there are two en-suite bedrooms with king size bed, chest of draws, bedside tables. Both the bedrooms have walk-in closet and through the sliding door they opens up to private balcony leaving you without breath from the scenery views of the beach of Galley Bay. Both bedrooms have private bathroom with shower, one of them has also a bath tub.

The lower level of the Villa has two other en-suite bedrooms nicely furnished. One has king size bed and the other has a queen size bed. Both bedrooms has walk-in closet, private bathroom with shower and balconies.

Next to these two bedrooms is the gym fitted with stationary bicycle, weights, treadmill, Yoga-math and private bathroom with shower.

The laundry room is also located at the lower level fitted with both washing and dryer machines.

Back on the highest level of the villa, just outside of the spacious living room, you will find the outdoor Jacuzzi and infinity pool flanked by a huge tiled deck ideal for sunbathing in the day and relaxing at night. Comfortable lounge chairs, coffee tables, chairs and umbrella surrounds the swimming pool area. The outside shaded dining area is fitted with a marble table and chairs here is the perfect place to have lunch and or dinner with your friends and family.

For the sport lovers Villa Kathleen features a full size hard court tennis court lights were installed to allow for night matches.

Villa Kathleen will provide the following staff to make your stay as comfortable as possible: one maid for groups from 1 to 7 guests and two maids for groups from 8 to 14 guests during the hours of 8am to 4mp each day of your stay. Kitchen staff that includes personal chef, professional waitress and other kitchen staff that will be available to prepare for you breakfast, lunch and dinner.   If you could imagine a perfect vacation, then a stay at Villa Kathleen is it. We went with a group of nine, including four adults and five children. From the moment that we arrived, to the moment we left, we had the most wonderful vacation ever.
  
  The villa itself is spacious, with airy and sprawling rooms, private bathrooms, closets and balconies. The decor is understated in a way to accentuate the outdoors. With 5 loud children, I was never at a loss for a silent spot to read, relax and enjoy the view (which overlooks the shore, a bay, or some form of water from every conceivable spot).
  
  Dining can be outside or inside, the staff will set up any sort of arrangement you wish for.
  
  There is a large infinity swimming pool overlooking the ocean bay, my favorite spot. The garden is full of beautiful flowers, plants and birds. There is a spectacular tennis court tucked away so you can not hear when someone is having at heated match...
  
  As far as the service, I only wish it could be mine all year long. There are two chefs who prepare whatever you desire for breakfast, lunch and dinner. (Ask Neil to make you his curry). Not only was the cuisine delicious, but it was varied and about half as costly as a stay at Four Seasons or at the Ritz.
  
  The villa is also staffed with drivers, butler, maids, waitstaff. If you have a desire, it is fulfilled.
  
  And that is just about the practical aspect of the villa. Most heart-warming was that the staff was extremely willing to take care of whatever our needs were. By the end of our stay, when our kids had an issue with anything (i.e. misplaced headphones, sunglasses, scraped knee) they turned to the staff for help instead of asking their own parents.
  
  It was a place I never wanted to leave, and I place I definitely intend to return to.

  Pure Indulence

  I run several businesses and unlike all the advice in books, I am not very good at delegating. Therefore I was ready for a melt down and needed a break. I decided to go away without my lap top, iphone and without my girl friend. The flight was only 8 hours and I was collected at the airport by Katia. Like Katia, the cleaner, the gardener and my very own qualified proper chef, looked a bit shocked that I had come to this this huge villa by myself. The drive to the villa was wonderful. Great views of the sea and as we rose up to the hill top, past the private security guards I rose above the hum drum to se a majestic view of the coast and boats in the distance. I had arrived! The villa was huge and spacious. Several lounges to escape from family if I wanted time on my own and equally several rooms to enjoy their company had I brought them. Every room seemed to have a window and slid to allow in the views. It's amazing how quickly you ca get used to huge houses. The master bedroom was bliss and the shower with another great view over the beach below was a joy. I could stay in the shower all day and just look out. The best was yet to come. My chef made me 3 course lunches and supper everyday and I could easily have forgotten that I could go out of the house...but why? The food was perfect and the service superb. When I wasn't being fed, guilt chased me to the private gym and on to the tennis court. Having come on my own, I asked the gardener if he could return my serve. This was a first for him but he gladly took the other side of the net. A bit bemused but enthusiastic. It was far too hot for anything too hard and so it was a dive into the pool to cool off. Is this how multi millionaires live? The wonderful house, the glorious bed, gym and beautiful tennis court? With wonderful nice staff to give you the 5* treatment. Yes I think I deserved it. This was the perfect escape for me and would be even better with a group of friends or family. I had the best break I have ever had and the best service. I did escape the house ...I walked down the hill to the beach. There was no one on it and it seemed I had a private villa and also a private beach all to myself. This was pure indulgence and worth every penny. I certainly have worked for it and now I am going to treat myself to this every year!

  All I need to say is that the villa is wonderful, the staff were amazing and very attentive, and the views are sensational. We were a large family, and we had a fantastic week, and Katia ensured everything was as we wanted it to be. She gave help and guidance when we needed it, and left us to it when it was not needed. The staff in the villa were great with the children, and nothing was too much trouble. Our whole group would highly recommend the villa and Katia. Thank you once again!

  We recently stayed at Villa Kathleen in Antigua, managed by 'Sea View Heights' run by Katia, who really looked after our every need.
  It was truly beautiful, luxurious and relaxing with every fine detail catered for. The villa has the most amazing views and is perched up on a hill where there is the perfect light breeze. It really is wonderful for any occassion, all the adults and children loved it!
  we're hoping to go back there soon, both the villa and the service provided was amazing and we highly recommend it.
