Additional Location Information
St Kilda, with a population of 16,122, is located 6km south from Melbourne's CBD. St Kilda was named after a ship, the ‘Lady of St Kilda’, which moored at the main beach for much of 1841. During the Edwardian and Victorian eras, St Kilda became a favoured suburb of Melbourne's elite, and many palatial mansions were constructed along its hills and waterfront. Post WWII, St Kilda became Melbourne's red-light district. In recent years, St Kilda has experienced gentrification. Now St Kilda is one of Melbourne’s premier and most expensive suburbs. St Kilda is home to many of Melbourne's famous visitor attractions including Luna Park, the Esplanade Hotel, Acland Street and Fitzroy Street. It is home to St Kilda Beach, Melbourne's most famous beach, several renowned theatres and several of Melbourne's big events and festivals.

Nice26/23 Irwell Street, St Kilda, Melbourne - June-July 2012 stay
Left on 08/10/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We had a lot of noise the first night with the wind and something outside who made a lot of noise.
However, the appartment was great.
I would have loved having more forks, knifes, glasses, plates.
Keys were easy to get back.
Overall we had a good stay and the appartment is located near St Kilda beach with everything available. very convenient.Response from Espresso Apartments - 09/09/2012

Gold Coast, QLDGreat service, perfect location, beautiful apartment!
Left on 03/13/2012 for a stay in February 2012
The apartment was perfectly situated a stones throw away from acland Street and close to all amenities, including the tram which stops directly below the apartment. Being up on the third floor (lift access) was also a bonus.
It was lovely having coffee from the pods provided which felt very welcoming and really enjoyed having a fully catered kitchen, including dishwasher! The full screen TV with Foxtel was an indulgence which was nice to come home to.
We had a few issues, not related to the apartment, which the staff were very diligent in trying to assist us in sorting out. We really enjoyed our holiday stay, and would be back again when we come back to Melbourne. -

Wellington New ZealandIt was awesome - great space with everything you would want
Left on 03/02/2012 for a stay in January 2012
It is an excellent space. Somethings did not work - like the blind in the lounge - it would not go up or down! The oven constantly set off the sensor on the fire alarm and dishwasher did not wash the dishes - but hey! Fairly minor in the scheme of things everything else was great. Comfortable bed, great tv, good ambience and just perfect to stay in. Just fix the minors for an excellent. The security is awesome - you are so safe getting in and out of the building and it is so close to everything from cafes, trams, the beach, supermarkets and liquor outlets. We will definitely recommend to other people looking for live-in apartment accommodation!

This is the second time we have stayed at Espresso apartments and we will definitely be staying there again when we return to Melbourne. Close to public transport, great restaurants for all budgets, and St. Kilda Beach. Best of all are the staff who go above and beyond for their guests. Highly recommended.

Left on 07/13/2010 for a stay in November 2009
We really enjoyed the location of the appartment: close to facilities, transport, bars and restaurants but still quiet. Well equiped and nicely decorated, it is a nice place to stay.
All contacts are either by e-mail or phone (friendly) which may be difficult for foreigners. -

Great location - just 100 metres away from main street in St Kilda. Small appartment but good for a short stay. Would love a more flexible check in/check out system though.
