Additional Location Information
St Kilda, with a population of 16,122, is located 6km south from Melbourne's CBD. St Kilda was named after a ship, the ‘Lady of St Kilda’, which moored at the main beach for much of 1841. During the Edwardian and Victorian eras, St Kilda became a favoured suburb of Melbourne's elite, and many palatial mansions were constructed along its hills and waterfront. Post WWII, St Kilda became Melbourne's red-light district. In recent years, St Kilda has experienced gentrification. Now St Kilda is one of Melbourne’s premier and most expensive suburbs. St Kilda is home to many of Melbourne's famous visitor attractions including Luna Park, the Esplanade Hotel, Acland Street and Fitzroy Street. It is home to St Kilda Beach, Melbourne's most famous beach, several renowned theatres and several of Melbourne's big events and festivals.

SingaporeModern decor, just a short walk to the centre of St Kilda
Left on 12/18/2011 for a stay in October 2011
This block looks and feels brand new, with the apartment decorated in a minimalist modern design. It had everything we needed and had an allocated parking space in the basement. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach or into the centre of St Kilda. It's not the cheapest, but you get a lot for your money and is certainly one of the nicest apartments we've rented on our travels. A minor bad point was that as this is a residential block there is no reception, so we had to collect they keys from a house a few blocks away, which was a bit of an inconvenience but wasn't too hard to find as we had a sat nav in our car.

Except for the lack of lighting in the flat, which seriously needs to be addressed, the facilities were all good and comfortable, making it a home away from home.

We had a fantastic holiday in Melbourne in September. The apartments are in a fantastic location, Walking distance to acland Street, the beach and the botanical gardens. A quick walk to the tram etc.
The apartments are very modern and clean. All the appliances are of a great quality. Very stylish nice apartments.
Only poor things were the patio and the check in. Very small patio, air con unit took up some room. The check in was annoying. When in a taxi from the airport stopping to pick up the keys at a different location was a little inconvienent.
Overall awesome stay. We would definatley rent this property again.Response from Espresso Apartments - 10/09/2011

Thank you for the feedback. We are currently streamlining our check in process and hope you will find this process easier next time.

Had a great stay, very convenient location and beautiful modern building. When you walk in the foyer all that's missing is a spa.
Very comfy beds too. -

Small but convenient and well equipped apartment. Underground secure parking. The bedrooms have no windows however they are not dark. Used the coffee machine - enjoyed. Park across the road is convenient with little children.

SydneyVery clean, modern apartment in a great location.
Left on 12/09/2010 for a stay in November 2010
Apartment was immaculate.
We suffered with the lack of window and natural air in the bedrooms, as whilst there was airconditioning, the lowest setting was cold and too much.Common with most apartments, but a shame, as sleeping was difficult and we wouldnt stay there again.
Great location and very smart apartment. -
