We were two couples from Canada in our early to late 30's who stayed in Suite 12 at the St. Lawrence Gap condo apartments from February 26 to March 8. The unit itself was beautiful and clean. All the bells and whistles, which made our stay a pleasant one. The wraparound balcony was very spacious with a gorgeous view of the carribean sea. We were a little unlucky that the restaurant next door was being renovated during the daytime, which made a lot of noise, but that was out of our control. The pounding sound from the sea helped drain out some of the noise. There is a lot of noise at night, but we were fully aware of this as we chose to stay in the bar/entertainment district. Closing the sliding doors on the patio and bedrooms and you will barely hear a thing. The cleaning staff came in twice during our stay which was great. The pool and lounge are was great and you had easy access to the beach and sea. Working with Barbara to setup everything for our stay via email and phone was quite easy and she was very helpful. Thanks again Barbara. The rental cost of the unit was pricy, but more affordable than other options like all-inclusive. Barbados is a beautiful destination, but a costly one to average people like ourselves. Nonetheless, we wouldn't have changed a thing regarding our accommodations. If you're looking for a quiet relaxing trip then I don't recommend staying in the Gap. If you enjoy the nightlife where you can enjoy dining, bars etc...then this is the perfect place to stay. There were families, couples in there forties and older all staying at this complex and they were enjoying themselves as much a we were. Hope this review serves you well. Enjoy your vacation.

St AsaphFab Pad, Fab Views, Fab Location!!

Lovely home from home. Great furnishings, very comfy, clean and contemporary. Loved the outdoor sunbathing space which gives you sun any time of the day. Hot tub was a nice luxury also. Sliding patio doors in living area bring inside outside so you realy get the penthouse feel. We had some friends over for drinks one evening who were staying localy and they were so envious of our beautiful accomodation!
On the negative side there were no Dvds to watch or books to hand down,normaly in private lets there are lots of these inherrited from previous guests which is nice. There were also no local magazines and leaflets which I know are freely available on the Island which are great for your first night when trying to get your bearings. There is very little info on how to work the wifi or TV. Ricardo was very helpful and sorted this the next day but it would be a good idea to have this info in a book so that people can get sorted as soon as they arrive rather than have to wait till the next day. (our teenagers can't be seperated from facebook for too long!!)
But those minor points aside I would wholy reccomend this place, don't worry about the noise as it doesn't penetrate the 2 sea facing bedrooms...even on new years eve!! Will most certainly be booking agiain FaB!
