We have just returned from sapphire apartment 201 (barbados) this was our 2nd time at this brilliant apartment,(12th visit to barbados in all) the service
you get from start to finish is second to none, hence we have just booked up for january 2014. The appartment is exactly the same as the photos on the the web site,beach is superb, location just right. -

Had a fantastic time here, the location is beautiful and the view was great. We dined out a lot, mostly at Champers restaurant, and Pisces, also Cafe Sol, all yummy and reasonably priced too. The weather was really nice, even for this time of the year, it rained twice while we were there but very mildly, it didn't put us off at all. The owner was very helpful and it was a cinch getting there, all round top spot, totally enjoyed it.

The unit was absolutely amazing! Donal was great to work with and very responsive during the booking process. We loved everything about the unit, especially the large balcony overlooking the Caribbean sea and Dover beach. Rent chairs from Kenny right in front of condo, $5 BDS each - really inexpensive. Rent water toys, boogie boards from Charles Watersports, right next door. Charles is great and makes an awesome pina colada! Eat at Pisces in the Gap - food is great, view is amazing and the staff is even better! Take surfing lessons from Zed and catamaran/snorkel with turtles with Stilletos. Your Barbados vacation will be perfect, just like ours was. Cant wait to go back and stay at Sapphire Beach 201 - thanks Donal!!

Five of us (all adults) were delighted with the location and high standards of this apartment. It was spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything necessary, which made for an easy time. Lots of storage for clothes and comfortable beds and sofas. Three decent-sized shower/bathrooms. Little touches, like iPod docks were appreciated. The level of security is high, so that a gate key is needed to access the beach. We have stayed on Dover Beach in a nearby hotel on two previous occasions, so were very pleased to see that these apartments were now built, as it was much more convenient and economical to be self -catering. Having said that, we were five minutes walk away from the excellent restaurants on St Lawrence Gap, which we went to frequently. The two swimming pools were clean and well maintained. The apartment is next to a water-sports shop, and there is a small but adequate supermarket two minutes away. It is well sited for Oistins fish night and fish market (ten minutes by car) and fifteen minutes ride to Bridgetown. Dover Beach is very clean; the sea has the clearest water, ideal for snorkelling and swimming with turtles. Donal, the owner, was very helpful when I was in the planning stage and arranged for extra keys and last day extension for us.

We stayed in #201 from Nov 29-Dec 4/11. This was my third stay in St. Lawrence Gap. We had watched the Sapphire Beach resort being constructed during past visits and had wanted to stay in that location. The booking process was very convenient and the unit itself is stunning. We enjoyed every part of our stay, despite the fact that we had unseasonably rainy weather the entire time. The unit is on the best beach - Dover and close to anything we needed to see or do. The unit has everything you need at your fingertips to make for a comfortable vacation. There is laundry in the unit, which I don't believe I noticed in the online rental posting when we booked so it worked out well. We took a cab to the Big B Grocery store and the store actually offers a free shuttle back. You can't go wrong with this rental. Loved it and can't wait to go back.
