Hi Jane,
I just wanted to let you know that I had an amazing time for my bday in Barbados.
My sister, friends and I all enjoyed our stay. Enjoyed is actually an understatement, I mean we loved it!
From the moment we landed to the moment we entered your condo we were all just Blown away!
We couldn't believe how beautiful the apartment was. Everything looked exactly how it was in the pictures.
We appreciated Ricardo so very much, he was so so friendly and always there when we needed him. He just made our stay even more enjoyable because he was such a big help to all of us and I appreciate that!

Leaving Barbados was very sad for all of us because we just fell in love with the whole island. The people we're friendly and the food was delicious!
Barbados will definitely be seeing me again real soon!

I cannot tell you what a fantastic time my husband and I had on the Island of Barbados! Ten days in Barbados was not long enough. This trip was his Birthday gift and I am so blessed that I decided on Barbados, being a Bajan on his father side and never vistited the island.. Just getting back and I am on the computer booking my return trip to the lovely island of Barbados! If I were asked what was my favorite thing you liked most about Barbados? my answer would be "The Bajan people and their Culture" I will be shortening our trip to Peru in March for my Birthday in order to come back and spend an
additional 7 days in Barbados. Jane, as soon as we opened the door to St. Lawrence Gap Condo we were speechless!!! the views are breath taking, We loved our
condo, it was beautiful inside and meet all my expections "being an Interior Designer".
I can bragg all day about how wonderful Jerry and Monica were to us! My husband and I were able to take the little white vans, public buses and also rented a car for 3 days from Stingray Rentals. We traveled around the island with no problem. We visited Bathsheba and The Crane Resort. We are timeshare owners and could have stayed at the Crane Resort but opt out in ordert to stay at your Condo in St. Lawrence gap so we could be in the heart of it all. I feel in love with Bathsheba and its huge rocks in the water. That was so beautiful. You have to expierence it for yourself... Traveled into Brigetown and Pelican Craft Center and did lots of shopping :-) We had a wonderful time on the Tiami Catamaran, Atlantis Submarines and Roots & Rhythm dinner show. Which I strongly recommend...
We ate at Cafe Sol, Paulo's Churrasco Do Brasil, Southern Palms a few times and listen to the steel band Sunday afternoons. Ate with the locals at Scotty's and watched a little soccer, Waterfont Cafe was yummy espically after all that shopping in Bridgetown. Harlequins was very good but our favorite was Pisces!!! and let's not forget the fish fry at Oistins on Friday night with a varity of different venders, we choose to eat at Mo's Grill & Bajan cooking. The Marlin was the best fish I have ever eaten :-) I even brought an extra plate of food to give away for a local on the island.
My husband and I went to the archives and found his Great Grandmother. What a moment that was! we also found a street that was named after his grandfather Keizer
Hill which was not to far from Oistins going toward South Beach.
The sandy white beaches were beautiful and clean. The flowers and plants were also beautiful on the island. I met Koko the parrot who has lived at the Southern Palms since 1960. I also saw very big turtles on the same resort popping their heads in and out out of the water as i layed getting in the sun and drinking my pina colada. .If you pay close attention you will see mokeys on the Island too.
We cannot wait to come back in March!

a very special thanks to you for all your help communicating with me via e-mail and sometimes telephone. Thank you all the information you provided me. Jerry was a wealth of informations and was on point with everything. When the Bajan people give you a time for pick up they are on time... Not one time was anyone ever late picking us up when scheduled. Jane, I would have not been able to do half the things without your knowlege and infomation and show my husband a Birthday to remember... Ps i feel that I played a big part on only using the electric

Thank you for this lovely review. Yes, your husband had a birthday to remember, didn't he, from monkeys to steel pan music to Pisces Restaurant (one of my favorites, too, and just a 2-minute walk from the St Lawrence Beach Condos).
I love that you embraced our island so completely, exploring every inch as you did. You went places I haven't even been yet! You took my suggestions and then gave me some back! Thank you.

St.Lawrence Beach apts was a terrific find and in a very lively loation. The rental itself was wonderful, the facility was redone 3 years ago and you can tell. Nice decor, updated appliances, beautiful views. I only wish the cleaning service would come more than just every 4-5 days. This location is best if you like to have fun at the clubs...there are 3 right across the street. Even if you dont though, it's walking distance to a little convenience store, ATM, couple of nice resturants and Dover beach. (No beach in front of the apts, but very nice jetty you can walk out on.)
If you'd like to have someone come and give you a message out on your patio or by the pool, I would recommend Tania, owner of Dernier Cri Mobile Spa. derniercrimobilespa.com She was amazing! -

Lovely property in excellent oceanfront location. Walking distance to a choice of bars and restaurants but with scope for peaceful relaxation by the pool.
