Looking for a peaceful beach getaway? Located in quiet Long Beach overlooking Flag Harbor Yacht Haven marina, this cottage is a few minutes walk to the sandy beach along cliffs famous for fossils from the Miocene. The shallow water is safe for children to swim, and a favorite for fishermen and beachcombers alike. Near the museums, golf, waterpark, shops and restaurants of Solomon's Island and Prince Frederick in Calvert County, Maryland. Only one hour to Washington DC and Annapolis.

Long Beach is a quiet residential community with a private community beach within a 5 minutes walk from Harbor Cottage. The beach is a peaceful retreat - and only one hour from Washington DC. St. Leonard is 3 miles and has most basic needs. Large grocery and other shopping is 8 miles in Prince Frederick to the north and Solomon's Island to the south. Many historic sites and nature parks, and a terrific Marine Museum are all within a 15 minute drive. Harbor Cottage has parking for 2 cars.
