“A lovely apartment in a magical harbour” This apartment is situated in an ideal spot for exploring the Marigot bay waterfront, it's small but enchanting beach and the interesting restaurants within a very short water taxi ride. The accommodation is of a very high standard with efficient air conditioning, and has lovely views from the small but adequate balcony. There are stairs to access the apartment - these were not a problem to us, but perhaps could be to a disabled person. We particularly enjoyed breakfast at the 'baguette shop' just below the apartment. The Wednesday night 'knees up' at Chateau Mygo was quite special, again only a few yards from the apartment. Doolittles restaurant across the bay was enjoyable for morning coffee and also evening meals. Our lasting memory was the day we chartered a small private yacht which took us from the quayside down the coast to Soufriere and other delightful places. All in all, a magical experience.

“Beautiful, Comfortable and Relaxing” Great view of Marigot bay from the Great House. Very comfortable home. Clean and well stocked with extras. Our house maid Christine was very accommodating and helpful. Brian the gardener kept the grounds and pool very tidy. Anselma cooked for us on 2 occasions. Local cuisine and plentiful. It was amazing!! We did a 2 day sailing excursion booked through the Oasis Marigot and this was a great adventure. Great restaurants and shops in Marigot Bay. We loved our stay at the Great House in St. Lucia and hope to be back again.

“Amazing” Our vacation at the VillaGina was an amazing experience. The hospitality we received made the vacation the best we've ever had. The location of the villa is great to venture out from to see many other excursions the island offers. Most of all, the comfort and amenities at the villa made it feel like home. We will definitely return.

“Peaceful - an excellent getaway from it all” I've rated the Caribbean Breeze as 'Excellent', and here's why.. I stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 weeks. Before we knew it we'd lost track of the days, you slip into a superbly stress free way of living. We chose the place because it's reasonably priced and away from all the tourist resorts and big hotels. Which is exactly what you get - you won't be bothered by anyone. It's reasonably simple, but definitely clean accommodation. Also quite spacious. We had a kitchenette and a fridge and did most of our meals ourselves, as you've got a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurant. We were lucky enough to have the owner, Cyrus, at the apartment at the same time as us. What a superb host - sitting out on the deck we were occasionally treated to his excellent Bbq-ing. Got to try some local fish, pork chops, chicken, local root vegetables, and most importantly, local beer ;) The view from the deck is truly stunning. I kept trying to read my book but always got distracted daydreaming. What more can you ask for? Cyrus even gave us a lift down to the famous Friday night Street Party at Gros Islet, what a great guy. If a 30 minute walk to the nearest shop for your groceries is an issue, use the apartment's taxi driver, or hire a car. We didn't mind walking, it's not like we had busy days.. Cas En Bas beach is a 5 to 10 min walk away, and it's usually quiet. There's a small hotel near the beach, but it's tucked away in the trees, all you can see for the most part is their beach bar/restaurant. Which is nice for a quick drink, however another 2 minute walk down the beach and you'll get to the locally owned bar (much cheaper) where we spent quite a bit of time. Good food at the local bar too! So to sum up, if you want a place to get away from it all, you're in for a treat. My only negative point is that the WiFi signal is pretty weak in the rooms - we had to leave our room and go stand by the office to pick up a signal. No biggie though, only 2 doors down!

“We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday with just enough activity.” We loved staying in Ocean Cottage apt 3. We felt we had the best view of Marigot Bay. We appreciated all the help that the guest office give us. The extra options for tours were perfect. We would definitely recommend Oasis Marigot to other travelers. Thanks from Carolyn and Spencer.

Pelican House-Charming Villa with Spectacular view

Marigot Bay villa

  • 3 bedrooms
  • 3 bathrooms
  • sleeps 6

“Wonderful Stay at the Pelican House!” My family & I had a wonderful stay at the Pelican House, our trip couldn't have gone smoother, from the airport pickup by "Smally" the driver, to "Johnson" the porter meeting us at the ferry dock & taking all of our bags up the hill to where the Pelican House is perched overlooking the turquoise waters of Marigot Bay. There was plenty of room in the house & each bedroom & even the kitchen all open up to the large open air deck with a spectacular view. Each morning we were greeted with various small birds & the colorful flowery vine seems to creep right through the railing on the deck. We enjoyed the local restaurants which were close by, either at the bottom of the hill at Dolittles, or across the bay at Chateau Mygo, among others. From the deck you can see the sunrise over the mountains to the East & then at the end of the day look out between the cliffs & see it sink into the Caribbean Sea. The grounds around the home & the Oasis Marigot were well manicured & lush with tropical plants & flowers, it was fun to explore the paths around the property. I would certainly recommend the Pelican House to anyone visiting the Island. I hope to get back soon!

Bananaquit House - 7 bed Luxury with Piton View.

Soufriere house

  • 7 bedrooms
  • 5 bathrooms

“Superb service in idilyc setting” We had a fantastic week staying in Bananaquit house. The service was 5* everything is thought of by Joan and her team. The house was immaculate and we were immediately made to feel at home. The beds were very comfortable and all the rooms were very spacious and airy. The house is incredibly relaxing and there are board games galore, the swimming pool is incredible and then there is the view, which has to be one of the best in the world. I would recommend Bananaquit House to groups of couples or families. When we booked we were recommended a list of places to go which really helped as we'd never been before. I would recommend an afternoon out sea, snorkling and stopping off in Marigot Bay and a trip to the sulphur springs which were a bit smelly but great fun. I would also highly recommend Orlando's at the bottom of the hill for a lovely dinner out. Brilliant house made by the wonderful service.

About St. Lucia

The ultimate Caribbean getaway, St Lucia offers much more than sun, sea, and sand (although there’s plenty of that to enjoy).

Whether you’re looking for excitement and adventure or relaxation and romance, St Lucia is the perfect island paradise for the vacation of a lifetime. Just look for your ideal St Lucia vacation rental on FlipKey and you’ll be on your way.

About St Lucia

Often called “The Hawaii of the Caribbean”, St Lucia is famous for dramatic landscapes, lush tropical forests, and exotic golden and black sandy beaches.

Its coastline is a spectacular mosaic of azure waters and volcanic beaches, studded with colorful fishing villages and unique coral reefs.

St Lucia’s world-famous landmarks, the stunning twin peaks of Piton Mountains, rise from the sea to over 2,500 ft. and will take your breath away.

The island is known for its acres of coconut and banana plantations – try some homemade banana bread, and enjoy cocoa tea in the mornings.

What to do in St Lucia

St Lucia is seriously diverse. With its activities both adventurous and laid-back, it could be thought of as two separate islands! With over 500 FlipKey rentals to choose from, why not enjoy the best of both worlds?

Soak up the sun and enjoy spectacular views while unwinding on Sugar Beach’s soft white sands. Looking to get off the beaten track? Head to wilder waters on St Lucia’s Atlantic side. A secluded haven, Cas En Bas beach, is a favorite for watersports.

Thrill seekers will jump at the chance to experience the exhilaration of zip lining through rainforest at Treetop Canopy Adventure, or mountain biking to Dennery Waterfall, the most spectacular falls on the island. Refresh yourself with a dip in the pool before cycling back through lush forest trails.

In the evenings, dine like a local and enjoy a classic St Lucian dish of salt fish and green fig – (which is unripe banana!) St Lucian food offers a huge variety - there’s something everyone will fall in love with.

Experience ‘wining’, a local Caribbean-wide term used to describe the rotation of the hips, and you’ll soon be partying like an islander!

Alive with activity, the annual St Lucia Carnival is a sensory delight and the perfect place to practice your moves, with explosions of vivid color and rhythmic music under the hot Caribbean sun.

Top travel tips in St Lucia

For unusual souvenirs, try Zaka Masks for vibrant wooden masks in Caribbean colors, handmade in the shadow of the Petit Picon volcano.

December to March is the perfect time to visit, with blissful average temperatures of 81˚F (27˚C).

It’s against the law for anyone to wear camouflage clothing, so stick to denim or plain fabrics when packing your shorts!

The currency is East Caribbean Dollars ($), but you can pay in US dollars. Expect a beer to cost around EC$6.

St Lucia is the perfect getaway and FlipKey has hundreds of vacation rentals for you to choose from. Whether you want to bring your kids for a family holiday, or escape with your partner, you’ll have an unforgettable vacation on this gorgeous island.

Sunset House With A Seaview
Affordable, Comfortable, Amazing

Spent 7 days at the Seaview House during April-May 2017. It was amazingly relaxing. Reliable wifi, spacious, comfortable and does not burst your pocket in terms of price per night. Renting a car is advised, although you can obtain public transport with a 10 minute walk up the hill (your preference). Networks Rental is a stone throw away if you decide to rent a vehicle spontaneously. The car rental Mr. Barrow is very professional. The house is 15 minutes to the airport and 30 minutes to Rodney Bay. It is a great family-type, friend bonding home. The pictures of the house are accurately advertised and was not misleading in any way. The home owner is very accommodating, friendly and is readily available. I would recommend this rental to any and everyone. Its a home away from home. #noregrets. Thank you Lucina. I love St. Lucia. -Ashleysee more
Waterfront location with balcony and stunning bay view...St. Lucia
View of entire bay

Sitting on our balcony in Marigot Bay, you have a view of the the entire bay. The best view and close enough to the water to travel across the bay to restaurants and bars without many steps. There is always a breeze blowing across the balcony. Best place in Marigot! Would highly recommend and book again.see more
Bay View - White Cedar
Great Experience

We spent the Christmas Holidays with Gillian in Laborie. First, Laborie is the place we would stay every time in St Lucia. It is a neat village add we much prefer that end of the island. There is more to see, it is quieter and away from the hustle and bustle of the Cruise Ship traffic. As far as the accommodation it was extremely nice as was the host. The apartment was spotlessly clean. It is fresh and nice with a great view of the bay from the bedroom and balcony. It came a shower at 8 am each morning resulting in a rainbow ending at the village church tower. It is a bit of an uphill walk from the village but good exercise- or you can drive. It can be a bit loud in the village until around 2 am depending on the night and what is going on. Earplugs came in handy. Gil is very helpful suggesting places to eat and things to do if you are a first timer. Great experience. Highly recommend it and would stay there again next trip.see more
3 Bedroom/3 Bathroom Villa House in St Lucia
Best view on earth.

The view was unbelievable. House was nice... old school villa, thick walls, great natural ventilation. A throwback getaway. The staff was amazing. Pamela (the cook) became our friend. The staff tended to every need. Great meals, 3 times a day. Housecleaning, bed changing, our laundry done and folded each day. Life of leisure... a real break. Road to the place was rough and might concern some. Had we understood that a driver came with the house, we would have not rented a car. When you rent this house you get a cook, a housekeeper, a gardener, and a driver. Loved it! Billsee more
