Alegria at Ocean Edge is the perfect escape for two couples or a couple with teenage children seeking an oceanfront getaway close to the all the action that makes St. Martin/Sint Maarten so famous. This newly built residence is sleek and contemporary yet comfortable and inviting.

As your private transfer leaves the Princess Juliana airport you’ll hardly have time to breathe in the fresh Caribbean air before you turn left at the Maho roundabout, head past Maho Beach (and the famed Sunset Beach Bar), and drive just another half-mile to the very tip of the Beacon Hill peninsula where you’ll find the very chic Ocean Edge Residen...ces. Alegria is one of just 7 residences in the building.

Alegria at Ocean Edge is a luxury 2 bedroom residence located on the ground floor with direct outdoor access – so close to the ocean you can feel the spray. As you walk through the front door your eyes are immediately drawn through the long open-concept kitchen and living space out over the private terrace to the Caribbean Sea. Alegria at Ocean Edge features a partially covered terrace with an outdoor dining area, designer lounge chairs, a sunken Jacuzzi and outdoor shower – but it’s really all about the view. Alegria offers some of the most incredible sunset views in the Caribbean.

In terms of location, Ocean Edge is perfectly situated just a 10-15 minute walk from the trendy Tahoma Beach Bar on Simpson Bay Beach, or just a 3 minute drive from Maho with its restaurants, casinos, clubs, and shops. This central location is perfect for a first time visitor to St. Maarten or a savvy island veteran.

NOTE: No children under 12.

St. Martin offers a diverse culture since the island is divided into the Dutch-side and French-side. The French side has a more genteel ambience, more fashionable shopping, and a Continental flair. The Dutch side tends to be less expensive, has casino hotels, and more nightlife. There are lots of water sports available to you - diving, snorkeling, sailing, and windsurfing are all popular choices. And it's easy to spend the day relaxing on one of the 37 beaches, strolling the boardwalk of Dutch-side Philipsburg, and exploring the very French town of Marigot.

  This is truly an amazing place. Went for my 30th birthday and could not have asked for better. The place itself has everything you need and more. The kitchen was well equipped, excellent choice of gadgets and appliances. Lounge was fantastic, huge TV, great sounds system.
  
  Rooms were fabulous- it was truly magical waking and looking out the the ocean.
  
  The sunsets from the deck are to die for. Always a perfect way to end the day.
