I arrived in antigua jet lagged, got in the rental car and had trouble finding the place. I drive past the road a few times. Margo was gracious in my delay and I was certainly glad to have arrived. I was very happy to see this was the place to be on Ffreys beach. The apartment I rented was roomy, clean and well maintained. It had a full kitchen, w/d cable etc. These were not the best attributes. This place sits a short walk (5 min.) from one of the best beaches in antigua. The first Sunday I was there, a beach party was the scene. It was great, local flavor, music and fun. After that it was quiet, relaxed, watching the horses, goats and birds enjoy the area. Agave is close to anything you need while on island. I will definitely stay there again.

Abbiamo soggiornato 10 giorni dal 30 luglio al 09 agosto 2012 nell'appartamento n. 1.
Il sito è molto ben dettagliato quindi non mi dilungo nei particolari perchè troverete lì tutte le informazioni che vi servono.
Il posto a noi è piaciuto molto, pulito, funzionale e con un'ottima location.
E' molto silenzioso e la spiaggia raggiungibile a piedi ( Freyes bay ) è bellissima e poco frequentata.
La wifi non è molto potente, funzionava solo in soggiorno, ma è gratuita e ci si può accontentare. Dopo un acquazzone tipicamente andava in tilt, noi abbiamo usato dei sacchetti della spesa per isolare dall'acqua la scatola di derivazione esterna e non abbiamo avuto ulteriori problemi.
L'acqua del rubinetto non è potabile, ma al vostro arrivo troverete in frigo una bottiglia di acqua, una coca e due birre per non dover correre subito al supermercato.
Unico neo, se così si può definire, la mancanza di tende oscuranti e/o persiane.
Per me non è un problema, ma se siete abituati a dormire al buio e non volete svegliarvi all'alba, procuratevi la classica mascherina da aereo.
Per il resto, prenotate tranquilli e godetevi la meravigliosa antigua, anche con gli acquazzoni estivi è un isola bellissima. -

Nice place, 3 minutes walk from the beahces. Frye's bay is the nicest beach of the island.
The cottage is perfect for a romantic stay, small but you have everything you need! Ac perfect, tv, nice view. The only probleme in antigua: Mosquitos!! -

Spent a week in the cottage at agave Landings. The view from the front porch is the real draw of this cottage. You look out at Ffreyes Beach which we thought was one of the prettiest beaches on the island. On the weekend there are a lot of locals at the beach, but during the week it was secluded. Everything you need is at the cottage. There is a deck across the entire front of the cottage with a tropical breeze blowing all day long. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good. Tv works good with movie channels. The only negative would be if you are driving yourself, the parking is sideways on a hill which made it difficult to get in and out of the car. This might be an issue for elderly or disabled individuals. There is also not a lot of nightlife in this area. It would be perfect for families with small children and people who prefer a quiet vacation.

We have returned yesterday from one of the best vacation we had up now, a two weeks spent in Antigua, at Agave Landings residence.
We enjoyed very much our staying here because of the beautiful landscapes and friendlily people and of course, the fantastic Caribbean Sea. Same time we appreciated very much the hospitality and availability of our hosts : Paul and Rosemarie Kelly who offered us a peaceful and clean apartment with a sea view just across the beach. The home is completely loaded with all the necessary items you might need and if there is something more you want, you can ask Paul and he'll always find a way to solve your problem! We liked the location because it was close to Jolly Beach/Harbor and also close to some very nice restaurants (Denis's and Carlmichael from Sugar Ridge).We highly appreciated the discretion and pleasant behavior of all the inhabitants of Agave Landings and especially of our hosts - whom I want to thank again for everytrhing.
I warmly recommend Agave Landings as vacation home to anyone who desires to spend a pleasant and peaceful holiday!

London2 Bedroom Apartment at Agave Landings

Stayed in Paul and RoseMarie Kelly's 2 bedroom apartment at Agave Landings.
Wonderful apartment, well equipped with air con, cable tv, and balcony overlooking Freyes Beach. Very clean and modern. We are a couple so apartment was very spacious for us, would easily suit family with two children. Just two minutes walk to Ffreyes beach which is lovely and five minutes walk to Denis's restaurant or Coco Bay and Sheer Restaurant. 5 minute drive to Jolly Harbour.
Paul and RoseMarie were wonderful hosts, although they clearly could spot we like a drink as they gave us wine, rum, brandy and gin on the evening of our arrival! Just what we needed after a long flight.
If staying at Agave Landings it is worth booking a rental car through Tropical Rentals for a combined deal and a high quality car to go with the apartment.
Some visitors to Antigua prefer English Harbour to Jolly Harbour. We stayed in both and found Ffreyes beach a lovely spot, quiet, pleasant and with nice beaches. Proximity to the Epicurean Supermarket is a bonus on arrival as you can stock up. If staying elsewhere you will need to drive into St. Johns for equivalent shopping.
Whilst writing about Agave Landings, we would also recommend eating at Sugar Ridge in Jolly Harbour, which is nearby. Great restaurant and good value.
Overall a highly enjoyable stay and we unresevedly recommend staying at Agave Landings. -
