      So peaceful

A relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Warm and welcoming hosts make the stay at Oakdene memorable. The heritage listed home has been beautifully restored to its former glory, both interior and exterior, and is set in magical gardens that can used for meditation, a walk by the rivulette or as a beautiful view from your cosy fire lit room. A must to experience in Tasmania. Will definitely return.

Romantic, Rustic and just overall Fantastic

Left on 04/26/2012 for a stay in March 2012

This accommodation was everything you could ask for and more. The photos simply don't do it justice! Was a beautiful setting romantic, rustic and just overall fantastic. The claw bath was amazing and it was lovely to relax at night by the fire. The hosts were beautiful people and we loved the breakfast provisions. It was the best place we stayed on our visit to Tasmania by far! We enjoyed it so much we would definitely come back and we will certainly be recommending it to all our family and friends.

We had a terrific time there.

Left on 04/26/2012 for a stay in February 2012

The service we received even before we arrived was tops, we were made very welcome upon our arrival. The home was lovely and clean and really well set out, I was too worried to use that lovely clean bath.
It's a good location to stay as it allows you to travel to lots of various locations up and down the coast. We have stayed in lots of accommodation around australia and it was as good as any we have stayed at. We liked the most was the friendly hosts, nothing was a problem, my wife can only eat certion foods and Sandra found the food locally and brought it to us. We couldn't have wished for better and we will be back for another stay.
